Browns Cut DE Marcell Frazier: There was some press on here that we might show some interest if we brought in his former DL Coach previously.

He has a good motor, put up decent sack and pressure numbers in college, definitely might have more upside than Noah Spence at this point, who hasn’t so much as flashed a bit in the preseason, imo. Let those guys fight it out for the situational pass rushing role. I’m all about adding pass rush.

Cleveland has a bunch of good defensive ends (Myles is a monster), so his release isn’t an indictment on his ability in my worthless opinion.

Here’s the thing for the bubble players…. just because you survive the initial final cuts doesn’t mean you’ll have a roster spot come opening day.   I’d grab this guy in a heartbeat but it would be at the expense of one of the said bubble players

I would gladly see one of the wideouts on the fringe go to grab a situational pass rusher. Hell, just dump Noah Spence. He has not been good at all as a pass rusher. Give this guy a chance, he may produce. Which, again, has been the bane of the Bucs. Pass rush has been bad. Load it up. Or not. The team looks pretty set at this point. Doubt the Buccaneers really do too much to their final roster (which I believe they have set for the most part).

Randall Cobb is going to get released. They have been shopping him all over the league, no takers.

The Seahawks can save $1.3 million from releasing CB Byron Maxwell.
Maxwell is one of the last remaining members of Seattle’s once dominant secondary. He’s expected to play in the final preseason game, a sign he’s fighting for a roster spot. Cutting Maxwell will leave just $500K in dead money.

The Browns just cut Mychal Kendricks [sp?].
They are pissed he did not come clean about insider trading a couple years ago.
    So he is available.

We are deep at DE. Need to look for safety and RB’s who are released.
