Can’t feel bad for him dude gets paid millions to do nothing. Dude has no hunger or desire in him, plays to soft to be a good qb

How long have you known Mike? Say whatever you want about his on the field play. but never say he “has no hunger or desire in him” for the game. That is so far from the truth.

I don’t have much success with PM’s here on this new board B. Have you talked to Jess lately? How does she like the Windy City, coming from NC State?

Anyone who follows the league saw this coming. They had Glennon in long enough for him to fail so fans will be justified with the next guy. We all have seen this scenario before.

It was inevitable. He’s simply not a good QB.

He isn’t and never was the future for the Bears or any NFL franchise. Good on him for getting paid, though.

True but Brock Osweiler has it the best. $17 freaking million to sit on a bench. I should kick my accounting instructions in the nuts for bad career advice.

Glennon needs to work on his legs to improve his mobility. He was asked about that in a presser, and actually said “my mobility is good enough”. Not sure of the whole context, maybe he was tired of that reporter’s line of questioning, but he obviously has issues throwing when his feet aren’t set. What got him benched in Chicago was likely too many inaccurate throws and INTs. Bummer; seems like a good guy and a hard worker who is too inconsistant…

Hopefully they’ll cut him (with his guaranteed money) and the Bucs can sign him cheap to be the backup.

Not a bad idea, but I don’t think he has given up the dream yet. He may never give it up.

He might have to settle for a backup gig after Chicago if nothing else comes his way. You never know with how bad some of the QBs are at the bottom of the pack.

No idea how people compare the Brock deal to the Glennon deal. Brock was just a draft pick for cash. Glennon was brought in to be the starting QB. Apparently someone feel in love with Mich in the draft and trade up which was the nail in Glennon’s tomb. There was no way he’d have a fair shot at remaining the starter for long under the circumstances.

This was inevitable. Good for him for getting paid (I think he’s guaranteed $16 million this year). Bears probably cut him as soon as they can though.

Good for him. He got paid some nice change and it didn’t cost the Bucs.

This is just an asshole uninformed kind of statement. Just because someone may not possess the talent at his desired craft sure as hell doesnt mean the above.
