PFF had him as the #66 corner last year. Bust. Especially for a first rounder. Pass.

#66 sounds like a high end #3 corner. What do we need? A #3 corner!

+1Welcome and thank you for using your critical thinking skills.Jenkins is ideal as a nickel/dime back in passing situations but isn't a CB you want starting on the outside IMO.

Raider fans don’t want to lose him…saw good and physical.  Has anyone watched any Raider games from last year?  Wondering if he played in the slot last year?

He is worth a look for depth.  If anybody can get something out of the guy it would be Lovie and Byrd.  Any clue how much money he wants?

i have a feeling that if you watched any Raiders games last year youd come away uninterested in 95% of their players

He’s too soft against the run to be a slot corner.

He’s a decent corner. He doesn’t tackle well, but he’s a cb. He can play both man and zone and has a decent press. Veteran depth and a guy that could play outside in the nickel or even be a good backup. Just because he’s the #3 cb doesn’t mean he has to play the slot. If he’s cheap, why not? He lives near Tampa and went to usf. Makes sense.

The issue is this team’s primary need in the secondary is a reliable slot corner. Verner is too talented to not be manned up outside or playing the deep half/third. Banks has range and is primarily outside material since he lacks short area movement to be a slot guy. The rest are unproven.

Lovie sees the slot as a separate beast and a pivotal one at that or else he wouldn’t have a coach devoted to the nickel/slot alone.

Has to give his son a job.

His son is actually the Safeties Coach, though he did coach nicklebacks at Dallas and Chicago.. Larry Marmie is the Senior Defensive Assistant Coach and will be coaching the Nickelbacks.

If he’s not  an elite all pro we don’t want him!People have some serious delusions about how you fill a roster.
