It’s here, Buc fans. The day you’ve all been waiting for. Tonight, we will see four things happen:1. Warren Sapp will be welcomed in as Tampa Bay's newest Ring of Honor member.2. Vincent Jackson will drop a key first-quarter pass.3. Lavonte David will make an incredible defensive stop.4. The Buccaneers will win their first game of the 2013 season.Link: http://www.thephinsider.com/2013/11/9/5083800/week-10-miami-dolphins-vs-tampa-bay-buccaneers-preview-and-predictions
Can the Dolphins shake off the turmoil surrounding them to beat a struggling Tampa Bay team? Lets take a quick look. The controversy this past week surrounding Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito had the potential to sink the team. Instead it's had the opposite affect, as the locker room has united over the issue. This is good news ahead of the game in Tampa.Right now, the Buccaneers are one of the three worst teams in the NFL. They currently sit rock bottom of the NFC South with a 0-8 record. Last week they hit a major low point as they blew a 21-0 lead against Seattle to lose the game. For the Dolphins, there are two major things to watch out for. The Buccaneers favor passing out of the shotgun, and from that formation almost never hand the ball off to the running back now that Doug Martin is injured. This should be a huge advantage for Miami. Led by Cameron Wake, Miami's pass rushers can really pursue rookie quarterback Mike Glennon. The second thing to look out for is the main threat coming from Tampa in Vincent Jackson. The Buccaneers lean heavily on their star wide receiver, and often line him up in the slot. This will be a big test for Miami's slot corners. Dimitri Patterson has not been in practice this week due to a knee injury, so the Dolphins may need Nolan Carroll to police that area of the field. Every single one of the Dolphins' corners will need to be on the top of their game to thwart the threat that Jackson poses.Final PredictionsThe Dolphins offense must convert third downs in this game in order to extend plays. If we can utilise Charles Clay and Michael Egnew to gain those short yards, the points will follow. If Miami fail to do this and give Tampa's offense time on the ball, Vincent Jackson is capable of making a few big plays to turn the game in Tampa's favor. But in the end, I see Miami coming on top in this one. The team will be eager to put all the controversy behind them and get their season back on track.Final ScoreMiami Dolphins 21-10 Tampa Bay BuccaneersWill Miami beat a struggling Tampa team? Where will the game be won and lost? Lets hear your thoughts.
Dave HydeSports ColumnistPrediction: Dolphins 24, Bucs 10Comment: Anyone who thought the never-ending controversy would sink the Dolphins season might be surprised. In fact, this seems to have the opposite affect emotionally. I've never seen a locker room so united in anger over an issue. Greg LeeSports EditorPrediction: Dolphins 27, Bucs 10Comment: Expect the Dolphins to shake off mounds of controversy in battle of the "Team Turmoil Bowl" of South Florida.Omar KellyDolphins Writer/ColumnistPrediction: Dolphins 28, Bucs 17Comment: This game will be surrounded by drama-filled subplots, with the Dolphins having more troubles and issues than Tampa Bay. On the field, the Dolphins should be able to apply heavy pressure on Bucs rookie QB Mike Glennon.Keven LernerOnline Sports EditorPrediction: Dolphins 23, Bucs 20Comment: Can the Dolphins rally in the midst of all their turmoil surrounding the Jonathan Martin bullying case? Yes. But game should be closer than people think. The Bucs have lost four games in final 89 seconds of regulation or overtime. They blew a 21-0 lead before falling at Seattle in OT last week.Chris PerkinsDolphins WriterPrediction: Dolphins 20, Bucs 10Comment: It's hard to believe the Dolphins have been totally focused this week. But they'll take care of business. The 0-8 Bucs have been dealing with distractions all season, including the messy handling of the release of quarterback Josh Freeman to speculation about the future of coach Greg Schiano.Steve SvekisMultimedia ReporterPrediction: Dolphins 26, Bucs 10Comment: Dangerous prediction with the massive distractions enveloping the Dolphins, but the Bucs - also filled with internal strife -are one of the three worst teams in the NFL and are coming off a disastrous loss in Seattle, where they blew a 21-0 lead to remain winless. With Cameron Wake back, the defense can again be dominant. There are no Giovani Bernards or A.J. Greens in Tampa.Copyright © 2013, South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Bucs-Dolphins PreviewBy Tom KrasniqiAnother prime time game awaits the 0-8 Bucs as they host the 4-4 Miami Dolphins on Monday night football from Raymond James Stadium at 8:40pm (620 WDAE, 95.3FM, 103.5FM). Tampa Bay is coming off a crushing overtime loss last week in Seattle. Bucs blew a 21-0 lead and lost 27-24. Tampa Bay has dropped 13 of their last 14 dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Miami is coming off a thrilling 22-20 overtime win over the Bengals but they’re a team embroiled in controversy. It’s hard to imagine a team that has more off the field controversy right now than the Dolphins and the Bucs don’t mind that at all. The bullying controversy has created a firestorm with offensive linemen Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin both removed from the team. Incognito is suspended indefinitely and Martin has left the team with an “illness” after reportedly being bullied and harassed by Incognito. With both in the lineup, Miami’s offensive line was considered suspect to begin with it. Now it’s a major weakness. Can the Bucs take advantage? The Dolphins have allowed a league high 35 sacks so far but the Bucs have just 17 sacks on the season and failed to bring down Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson last week. If there was a time to crank up the pass rush, this would be the game. Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy applied plenty of pressure last week but didn’t get much help. Defensive ends Adrian Clayborn and Da’Quan Bowers must step up their game. Miami’s patchwork offensive line consists of castoffs Bryant McKinnie and Tyson Clabo at the tackle spots. Tampa Bay has to bring plenty of heat on quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who is athletic enough to extend plays. The Dolphins do have big play potential at the skill positions in the form of running back Lamar Miller and wideout Mike Wallace. Both Miller and Wallace have sprinter speed to hit the homerun. Expect to see Darrelle Revis on Wallace for most of the night. Revis explained this week that he’s “fighting boredom” because he doesn’t get challenged often. Wallace’s speed will pose a challenge. Miller is averaging 4.8 yards per carry and ripped off 105 yards last week against a good Bengals defense. Brian Hartline is a possession receiver who must be accounted for as well. The Bucs defense has allowed opposing passers to complete 73% of their passes over the last four weeks. If Tannehill isn’t pressured, it could be a long night.Rookie quarterback Mike Glennon continues to impress. Last week in Seattle, Glennon posted a QB rating of 123.1. Vincent Jackson is seeing more double-team coverage in recent weeks with Mike Williams out for the season. Jackson should see plenty of cornerback Brent Grimes, who’s played well for Miami. Tight end Tim Wright caught a touchdown pass last week and continues to be a reliable option in the passing game. The running game got a jolt last week thanks to rookie running back Mike James, who rushed for 158 yards last week. Left guard Jamon Meredith provided some thump in the run game. The Bucs should be able to pound it against a Miami rush defense that ranks 22nd in the NFL (allowing 117 yards per game). The Dolphins can bring pressure on the quarterback, led by defensive end Cameron Wake. Last week, Wake recorded the rare walk-off safety when he sacked Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton to end the game. The key matchup will be Wake against Bucs left tackle Donald Penn but Wake will move around the line quite often. Miami leads the all-time series 5-4. In their last meeting, the Bucs lost at Miami 25-23 back in 2009. Tampa Bay is 3-2 at home against Miami. The last time the Bucs lost at home to the Dolphins was way back in 1988. Prediction: The Bucs may be winless, but you have to give them credit --- They should’ve beaten Seattle last week and haven’t quit on head coach Greg Schiano. The Dolphins are 4-4, but they have played poorly at times. Glennon and James should move the ball on Miami and the Bucs defense will finally get some pressure on the passer. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Yes, Bucs get their first win—20-17.

Here's your preview for the Monday night game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football in Week 10, but both teams are getting far more attention for off-field issues than the on-field product. The Bucs fell to 0-8 after blowing a 21-0 lead to the Seahawks, and the heat continues to rise on Greg Schiano. The Dolphins finally snapped their four-game losing streak, but are embroiled in a bullying controversy involving Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito.Meet the Tampa Bay BuccaneersAnother week, another second-half meltdown. The Bucs were on their way to pulling off the upset of the year after taking a 21-0 lead over the Seahawks on the road. Things fell apart down the stretch, and the Seahawks scored 20 unanswered points to win in overtime. That leaves the Bucs winless on the season and their fans looking towards the draft. If the season ended today, Tampa would have the No. 1 pick.Meet the Miami DolphinsThe Dolphins have been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Richie Incognito has been suspended indefinitely for the harassment of Jonathan Martin, and the coaching staff is coming under fire for their alleged involvement in the case. The ongoing story has overshadowed a team that remains decent, even with a depleted offensive line. Cameron Wake took home AFC Defensive Player of the Week after Miami's 22-20 overtime win over the Bengals. The Dolphins are 4-4 and still in good position to make a playoff run, but it's hard to say how much the team holds together on the field with so much scrutiny off it.Local Takes: Tampa Bay BuccaneersSander Philipse from Bucs Nation isn't asking much anymore -- he just wants the Bucs to win a game:I want to be able to tell people that the Bucs are going to the Super Bowl just win a game and not have it be an exercise in self-delusion.I won't tell anyone they're not a real fan for feeling any way about their team's performance. I'm just saying this for my own sake: I can't stand the losses. I will not be happy when the Bucs lose, and I will continue to celebrate any victory that comes the Bucs' way. Because I'm a Bucs fan, dammit, and I want the Bucs to win.Local Takes: Miami DolphinsDolphins blog The Phinsder hasn't been talking much about actual football, for obvious reasons. In lieu of a blurb, we direct you to their excellent and quick-updating stream of the ongoing Martin/Incognito saga.Follow the FunBe sure to check out SB Nation's team blogs, Bucs Nation and The Phinsider for more analysis and highlights from the game.Add these fine follows to your Twitter timeline:@Bucs_Nation@thephinsiderPredictionFive out of six experts on SB Nation's panel are taking the Dolphins. Matt Ufford is going off the beaten path, picking the Bucs in an upset.OddsThe Dolphins are favored by 2.5 or three points, according to Oddshsark. One book favors them by just one point.Next WeekThe Bucs take on the Falcons at home. Miami is hosting the Chargers.

Bucs vs. Dolphins: Big Dang PreviewBy JCDeLaTorre @jcdelatorre on Nov 11 2013Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY SportsThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers quest for their first victory of 2013 in front of a National Television Audience.Like Sander, had you told me that going into tonight's Monday Night Football game that our Tampa Bay Buccaneers would be the Last the Mohicans - the only team in the NFL without a victory - I would have laughed in your face and called you an idiot. In the end, I guess I'm the idiot in thinking this team had a Pro-Bowl laden roster that had significantly addressed its deficiencies and was ready to contend in the NFC South. In other words, I expected the Bucs to be where the seemingly less talented Carolina Panthers are today.Instead, here we are with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sitting at 0-8.I'm happy the players are (according to some reports) warming up to Schianolini. I'm glad Coach Ahab has apparently pulled a Tom Coughlin and is easing off the gas pedal. That's great. What I don't like is watching this football lead blow lead after lead. I don't like seeing this team be the last ones without a seat. This is ridiculous and embarrassing - the fanbase deserves better than this.If there ever was a night to break out of this malaise - it's tonight. Tampa Bay's Super Bowl winning coach Jon Gruden is in the house with the Monday Night Football crew. It will be a sold out crowd and the Bucs' newly minted Hall of Famer Warren Sapp will be inducted into the Ring of Honor at halftime.Plus, the Dolphins are as dysfunctional now as the Bucs were in the first half of the season. Can Tampa Bay put it together and remove the stigma of being the league's only winless team?Series: Dolphins lead 5-4Last Meeting: November 15th, 2009 - Dolphins won 25-23Tampa Bay Buccaneers Passing Game vs. Miami Dolphins Pass DefenseLike the Bucs, the Dolphins re-worked a porous pass defense in the off-season, throwing a boatload of money at their defense. It hasn't worked to perfection as Miami finds themselves ranked 22nd against the pass and 23rd overall.Unheralded veteran corner Dimitri Patterson leads the team with 4 interceptions. Cameron Wake remains one of the league's premier pass rushers, already at 5.5 sacks on the season. Big free agent acquisition Brent Grimes has played well for the Dolphins, including an interception return for a touchdown.Tampa Bay's passing game ranks 31st in the NFL and has lost a key weapon in Mike Williams for the season. Under rookie Mike Glennon, the Bucs have seen their average go up. Glennon is averaging 233 yds a game, with 8 touchdowns and 3 interceptions (2 of those coming in the 4th quarter against the Arizona Cardinals). He's been an excellent game manager - Alex Smith type. He's yet to take that next step to prove he can be more than that.Advantage: MiamiTampa Bay Buccaneers Rushing Attack vs. Miami Dolphins Run DefenseThe Bucs did the right thing by shutting down Doug Martin. Martin may have been able to try to play with the torn labrum but why? This team is headed to the top pick in the NFL draft - there's absolutely no reason to waste Martin's shelf life on a lost season unless Schiano is trying to save his own backside (which he is).Rookie Mike James, who played his college ball at the U, has shown he can handle the load, pounding out an impressive 158 yds against the Seattle Seahawks last week. The shifty back has shown he has vision, decisiveness, can block out of the backfield and catch passes. He may not be the home run hitter Martin is but he can definitely churn out the tough yards and keep Glennon from having to throw too many passes.Miami is pedestrian against the run, ranking just 21st but you can certainly expect them to load the box against Tampa Bay. Until Glennon proves he can consistently hurt teams down the field - it's going to be this way.Advantage: Tampa BayMiami Dolphins Passing Attack vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pass DefenseWhile the Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito controversy is certainly a distraction off the field, it's hurt Miami on the field as well. The Dolphins weren't exactly the strongest offensive line in the NFL before losing two key members of that line. Miami led the league in sacks surrendered with 35 coming into this weekend's action.Ryan Tannehill has done the best he could with the pressure he's been getting, He's managed to complete 60% of his passes and has 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. The huge free agent acquisition of the off-season, Mike Wallace, has been solid but not spectacular and the workhorse of the receiving core continues to be Brian Hartline. The Dolphins are ranked 21st in the league in passing.Tampa Bay comes into the game ranked 15th in the league against the pass. That's all well and good but Tampa Bay simply cannot protect leads. Its been a tough pill to swallow for a defense that spent a lot of money on Darrelle Revis and second round pick Johnthan Banks. For Revis, it's been more "The Revis Zone" than Revis Island as he's rounded himself back into shape. Revis has played more man each week and could be close to putting opponents number one receivers on Revis Island. When Revis can be Revis - it's difficult to throw on the Buccaneers.Tampa Bay has a pedestrian pass rush but does some exotic stunting and blitzing. With the Dolphins makeshift offensive line - this could be the one week the weird way the Bucs rush the passer may actually work.Advantage: Tampa BayMiami Dolphins Running Game vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Run DefenseMiami's one-two punch of Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas has been effective but not deadly. The Dolphins find themselves 22nd in the league in rushing. Still, Miller is capable of slicing and dicing a defense if they aren't ready to play with their big boy pads. Truth be told, the Dolphins want to impose the running game on their opponents similarly to the way Tampa Bay does. The Bucs defense comes in ranked 13th against the run. Tampa Bay is coming off a horrible performance in Seattle against the Seahawks' top back Beatmode and need to rebound this week if the Bucs hope to win.Advantage: Tampa BaySpecial TeamsCaleb Sturgis is Miami's kicker and to say he's struggled would be a bit of an understatement. Sturgis may have saved his job last week by nailing his last two field goals. For the season, he's 13 of 18 with a long of 54.Brandon Fields is Miami's punter. He's averaging a very solid 48.8 yds a punt. Strangely, the Dolphins don't use Mike Wallace on kick or punt returns. Both are handled by 2nd year running back Marcus Thigpen. Thigpen is averaging 5.2 yds a punt return and 25.1 yds a kick return.Tampa Bay field goal kicker Rian Lindell rebounded after a horrible start to the season. He's now 11 of 13 with a long of 50 yds. Michael Koenen handles the punting duties for Tampa Bay. He averages 43.1 yds a punt.Eric Page has handled the punt and kick return duties the majority of the season for Tampa Bay. Page is averaging 9.2 a return on punts and 25.4 yds a kick. Tampa Bay is apparently dissatisfied with those numbers (and Page's penchant to put the ball on the ground) as they have been looking at returners to possibly replace page, including Skye Dawson who returned a kickoff and punt against Seattle.Advantage: Tampa BayBy the NumbersTampa Bay has lost four games in the last 58 seconds or overtime.Tampa Bay has won three of the last four meetings in the seriesTampa Bay is 3-2 at home against MiamiMiami's last victory in Tampa was in 1988The Bucs were the first team to go winless in the modern NFL during their expansion season of 1976. Their closest opportunity for victory came against the Miami Dolphins, who edged out Tampa Bay 23-20.Miami lost 4 straight games before beating the Bengals in overtime last Thursday night.Since the 1976-77 season, when Tampa Bay went 0-26, the worst start in Tampa Bay history was 0-9, in 1983 under John McKay and 1985 under Leeman Bennett.Tampa Bay is 3-9 under Schiano in games decided by a touchdown or less.OutlookOkay, enough of this foolishness. The Jaguars got a win for crying out loud. The Bucs have flirted with victory all season but haven't sealed the deal. Tonight's the night. It has to be. The stars have aligned for Tampa Bay. The two teams closest to the Bucs for the first overall draft pick - Minnesota and Jacksonville - both took victories this week so winning won't hurt Tampa Bay all that much. The word out of the locker room according to at least one publication - the Pewter Report - is that the team is starting to believe in Schiano and want to rally around their embattled coach. Well, that's swell. We can debate the semantics of too little too late later, but the bottom line is no coach should survive a 2-14 type season. Right now, the Bucs will take 1-15.The Bucs need to establish the run, play the same mistake-free football they did in Seattle but this time, the three S's (Sheridan, Sullivan and Schiano) must not snatch defeat from the open arms of victory. And for crying out loud - can we score some points after halftime for once? Is that so hard to do?Tonight's the night.Prediction: Buccaneers 24, Dolphins 13

Lol yeah, and that worked out fantastic for us.Think I'll take this situation over that. And someone asked "what plays" I was talking about. Every single play (that I saw) where they had Gruden do analysis using the behind-the-quarterback camera. No one open down field. No one even close.NOT saying that Glennon has shown he can throw deep tonight, but offering a sane reason for that instead of blind hate.

Always had a slow first step, even in college. He was able to overcome that with his strength in college but it hasn't translated to the pros.

Glennon has played with our starters healthy
No, he didn't
O.K. so Mike Williams played injured.
Caradoc will make every excuse he can for Glennon. The funny thing is he picked out every little reason he could find to bash Freeman.
