Today, DC National Guard General points the finger right at Trump HENCHMAN, Chris Miller AND KASH PATEL.
DC National Guard commander says he did not need authorization from Pentagon leaders before deploying troops in response to protests at the nation's capital last summer but that changed in the days before the January 6 insurrection via an "unusual" memo. https://t.co/AnXnD64RVS
If you don’t know, on his way out the door Trump started firing people and replacing them with his henchman, in this instance Miller and Miller’s right hand, who was the supremely unqualified, hyper partisan Devin Nunes hack, Kash Patel
RUH ROH . . . WILL MARRICK GARLAND PROSECUTE TREASON CLAIMS?
If memory serves, Chris Miller is appointed after the election
the letter is Chris Miller making himself the gatekeeper that now has come into question because of the three hour delay. What conclusion other than that he asserted himself PRECISELY so he could slow any response?
the letter list things that CANNOT happen without his “personal authorization”
Every second counted on January 6th. In response to my questioning at today's hearing, D.C. Nat’l Guard Commander Walker said that he did not receive approval to deploy guard members for more than 3 hours. They were 18 minutes away. That is unacceptable. https://t.co/Ia8bh1SXor
“On the evening of January 5—the night before a white supremacist mob stormed Capitol Hill in a siege that would leave five dead—the acting secretary of defense, Christopher Miller, was at the White House with his chief of staff, Kash Patel. They were meeting with President Trump on “an Iran issue,” Miller told me. But then the conversation switched gears. The president, Miller recalled, asked how many troops the Pentagon planned to turn out the following day. “
The answer to why the Pentagon, as reconfigured by Trump, lied about Mike Flynn’s brother’s role in the January 6 response can’t be that it had nothing to hide. So we need to keep digging. https://t.co/9k4HXL20uT
“ WASHINGTON — A member of the far-right nationalist Proud Boys was in communication with a person associated with the White House in the days just before the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, according to a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.
Location, cellular and call record data revealed a call tying a Proud Boys member to the Trump White House, the official said. The F.B.I. has not determined what they discussed, and the official would not reveal the names of either party”
“President Biden’s pick to lead the Justice Department, Merrick Garland, told lawmakers Monday that the investigation into the Capitol insurrection would be a top priority if he is confirmed as attorney general.
Garland, a widely respected judge who has served for more than 20 years on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, said the attack on the Capitol was the most “heinous attack” on American democracy that he’s ever seen.
“One of the very first things I will do is get a briefing on the progress of this investigation,” Garland said. “I intend to give the career prosecutors who are working on this matter 24/7 all the resources they could possibly require to do this.”
Tom Cotton blocks AG nomination
and this was the vote against AG nomination
Republican senators who voted against Garland were Ted Cruz of Texas, Mike Lee of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Tom Cotton of Arkansas, John Kennedy of Louisiana and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee.
Minuta is an associate of Roger Stone’s. We’ve all seen how much Stone wants to avoid prison. So if he was involved in Jan 6 in some way, convincing Minuta to cooperate against him could pave the way to learn details of whether there was an organized plan to attack the Capitol. https://t.co/8TCBnNnzAR
“A New York tattoo artist and member of the far-right militia group the Oath Keepers who provided protection to disgraced Trump adviser Roger Stone the day of the sacking of the U.S. Capitol was arrested Saturday by the FBI for allegedly taking part in the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Roberto Minuta, 36, was taken into custody at a business in Newburgh, New York, NBC New York first reported. The New Jersey resident faces several charges, including tampering with documents or proceedings, for going to D.C. “equipped with military-style attire and gear, including apparel emblazoned with a crest related to the Oath Keepers,” and then storming the Capitol, according to a criminal complaint.”
“As The Daily Beast previously reported, Minuta has also worked security for other Trumpworld figures such as former Trump National Security Adviser Mike Flynn and far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones at so-called Stop the Steal rallies in the aftermath of the 2020 election. Minuta was identified by Citizen Lab researcher John Scott-Railton and a group of volunteers calling themselves the “Capitol Terrorists Exposers” who were the first to note Minuta’s connection to Flynn. In an interview with The Daily Beast, Scott-Railton described the relationships between organized groups such as the Oath Keepers and high-ranking members of Trump’s inner circle as “troubling.” Although Flynn did not respond to a request for comment, his brother Joseph said neither he nor his brother knew Minuta.”

NEW A little publicized video by Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and new court filings show his contacts with key charged rioters date to Nov. 8 near Washington D.C., as DOJ gathers evidence to try to build larger conspiracy indictment. https://t.co/f8mpwweAcphttps://t.co/tukCO9wHGy
“ Four men described as leaders of the far-right Proud Boys have been charged in the U.S. Capitol riot, as an indictment ordered unsealed on Friday presents fresh evidence of how federal officials believe group members planned and carried out a coordinated attack to stop Congress from certifying President Joe Biden’s electoral victory.
So far, at least 19 leaders, members or associates of the neo-fascist Proud Boys have been charged in federal court with offenses related to the Jan. 6 riot. The latest indictment suggests the Proud Boys deployed a much larger contingent in Washington, with over 60 users “participating in” an encrypted messaging channel for group members that was created a day before the riots.”
All these people that came out of the woodwork and out from under their rocks for one reason. They answered the call from Donald Trump. Trump did not just get caught up in the excitement. He was running the show. He attempted to engineer a revolt against the government simply because he can’t stand to lose. While all the riff raff are rounded up, we should never lose focus on the fact that Trump is a dangerous traitor to America and a threat to democracy. He was and he still is a danger to our nation. He must be stopped at every turn.
There’s new evidence more African Americans may be dying from coronavirus in the United States than whites or other ethnic groups, according to a new study.
Black Americans represent 13.4% of the American population, according to the US Census Bureau, but counties with higher black populations account for more than half of all Covid-19 cases and almost 60% of deaths, the study found.

Disparities, including access to health care, are likely to blame, researchers concluded in a report released Tuesday.
The team of epidemiologists and clinicians at four universities worked with amfAR, the AIDS research non-profit, and Seattle’s Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access, PATH, to analyze Covid-19 cases and deaths using county-level comparisons. Racial data is still lacking in many areas, and their analysis uses what data was available as of mid-April.

They compared counties with a disproportionate number of black residents — those with a population of 13% or more — with those with lower numbers of African American residents. Counties with higher populations of black residents accounted for 52% of coronavirus diagnoses and 58% of Covid-19 deaths nationally, they said.
“Social conditions, structural racism, and other factors elevate risk for COVID-19 diagnoses and deaths in black communities,” wrote the scientists from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory, Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Georgetown University’s O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law.
America’s black and Hispanic communities are bearing the brunt of the coronavirus
“Structural factors including health care access, density of households, unemployment, pervasive discrimination and others drive these disparities, not intrinsic characteristics of black communities or individual-level factors.”

Of the more than 3,100 counties researchers looked at with coronavirus cases and deaths from late January to mid-April, they found a greater percentage of disproportionately black counties were in the South. The African American populations ranged from 13% of the county total to over 87%.
“COVID-19 deaths were higher in disproportionally black rural and small metro counties,” the study noted.
The research showed that by April 13, there were 283,750 Covid-19 diagnoses in disproportionately black counties and 12,748 deaths compared with 263,640 coronavirus cases and 8,886 deaths in all other counties.

“Collectively, these data demonstrate significantly higher rates of COVID-19 diagnoses and deaths in disproportionately black counties compared to other counties, as well as greater diabetes diagnoses, heart disease deaths, and cerebrovascular disease deaths in unadjusted analyses,” the authors concluded.
The study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, is currently under consideration by a medical journal and has not yet been published.
Correction: This story has been corrected to say that counties with higher black populations account for more than half of all Covid-19 cases and almost 60% of deaths, according to the study.
Prosecutors have not yet charged any Capitol rioters with sedition. But asked whether he anticipates those charges, federal prosecutor Michael Sherwin says, “I believe the facts do support those charges.” https://t.co/QttmisXpO1pic.twitter.com/CLq0xYdAzh
He’s a Barr holdover so he was trying to set up the DOJ I guess
