This is huge for the Bucs draft position. I wouldn’t mind replacing Winston with Murray.

Kyler Murray – QB – Player
The San Francisco Chronicle reports 2018 Heisman Trophy Winner and 2018 Oakland A’s first-round draft pick Kyler Murray will enter the NFL draft.
In and of itself, entering the draft would not necessarily mean Murray was foregoing his baseball career, but A’s beat writer Susan Slusser reports he would be expected to focus on football if he did so. Super agent Scott Boras had previously insisted that Murray planned to report to A’s spring training next month. Now that appears to be up in the air. We will gain more information in the coming days. Were Murray to commit to football, he would have a shot at coming off the board on Day 1.

5’9 QB number 5 overall? Yeah this isn’t a troll thread.

Kid is 4″ 11′. Not sure why he’s even entertaining football as a career. He won’t last. The chasm between the best overall program,in college, Clemson, and the worst overall franchise in the NFL, is that of the Atlantic ocean. He’ll get killed in the pros. There is no team that will draft him in the first two rounds. If this is being said, it’s lies, just like Caldwell and Del Rio were being considered for the Buc’s head coaching gig. Stop.

GoldsonAges on 2nd round pick, Safety, Justin Evans, out of Texas A&M - "coaching can’t fix this".

Kyler Murray looking like a first-round lock

PFT (well Peter King) saying he will be a 1st rounder. Def don’t see that happening!

Kyle Murray is a fool to want to play in the NFL. He’s way to small and will not stay healthy. The smart thing to do is report to spring training and get on with his baseball career. Baseball players make way more money and play a lot longer. If he gets hurt to badly in the NFL he won’t be able to play either.

Right. This isn’t a Drew Brees is only 6’1″ type statement. Kyler Murray is tiny, he has little wrists and just isn’t big enough to play the game in the NFL. Sure, he’s shifty, but with that comes many many many big boy hits.

It would be nice if Kling used the #1 pick on his QB thus sending us better players, but I doubt that will happen.

Dude is the same size as Adam Humphries. I’d take a shot on him maybe in the 3rd, but no sooner.

Unless in special cases like being a starting QB as opposed to a relief pitcher (looking at Jameis)

This guy is going to end up playing baseball. We need all our picks to help improve this team. Stop giving Licht bad ideas for a second round pick.

He’s also the same size as Ronald Jones. What is your point?
