I have posted on here that everything Trump is about going backwards in time – MAG Again, bring down Roe v Wade (1973), bring back coal and manufacturing .. all about going back in time. As part of that, I have pointed out that Trump is, essentially, Pat Buchanan Part II ( complete with the white supremacy)
It shouldn’t be surprising then that Pat B is out in defense of the trade war tariffs
Read the op ed (of course on CSN lol) and just pay attention to the dates and people Buchanan discusses so wistfully
The GOP is trying to turn back time. Lol00No votes yet. Please wait...May. 15, 2019 at 7:52 am #1186396
Buchanan- “Tariffs were the taxes that made America great. They were the taxes relied upon by the first and greatest of our early statesmen, before the coming of the globalists Woodrow Wilson and FDR.”00No votes yet. Please wait...May. 15, 2019 at 10:18 am #1186408AnonymousInactive
Globalism is great for the global economy. What a moron… but then again, not shocking.
Racism is alive and well in Trump’s America.00No votes yet.Please wait...May. 15, 2019 at 10:56 pm #1186577jbearParticipant
You two are a couple of sickos.
People can point out to you a thousand times, the reasons Trump won and why people voted for him and it’s all white noise to you. Midwestern auto worker, steel worker, truck driver…… didn’t vote for Trump because racism. They voted for Trump because globalization was leaving them and their kids behind.
My wife was reading an article in Russian tonight about the virtues of an American education and how college admissions in this country favor people with dual citizenship because diversity. It was kind of like a guide to encourage Russians to go for the gold ring of an American college education. How do you think high school educated working class feel about their kids with average grades getting a decent college education when they have to do that much better because diversity. That’s not even taking into consideration the dwindling working class jobs and wages.
Feeling that globalization isn’t helping you and your family is not racism no matter how many times you two creeps say it is.00No votes yet. Please wait...May. 18, 2019 at 2:08 am #1186899AnonymousInactive
You’re delusional if you think racism didn’t play a role; that people’s negative disposition of globalism doesn’t in some ways come from xenophobia, you are part of the problem… like people saying “I don’t see color”…
Trump didn’t win BECAUSE of racism… that is moronic. But it certainly played a role in the perfect storm.00No votes yet. Please wait...May. 18, 2019 at 9:35 am #1186921
Of course racism played a part. It’s been an intentional part of GOP politics dating to Goldwater00No votes yet. Please wait...
