The Bucs had virtual meetings with”

      OT Teven Jenkins OKLA
      CB Greg Newsome NW
      DT Darius Stills WV

Jenkins and Newsome could probably be gone when the Bucs draft at 32.
But if either one drops, he could be the Bucs #1 pick.

These visits may indicate that the Bucs are looking for

      a OT, a CB and a DT.

If the Bucs are looking at Jenkins, its to play guard.

If the Bucs are looking at Jenkins, its to play guard at least for a couple years. They wouldn’t draft a tackle in round one.

Bucs have a big need for a reliable 3rd Tackle.
doesn’t look like Jenkins will make it to #32.
OT Stone Forsythe, Florida or Spencer Brown, North Iowa in round 2 ???
Bucs have OG pretty well covered.

Greg Newsome would be an incredible fit in our D. He’s tall, really fast, long arms, and plays great off coverage.

Yes Newsome would be a great addition.
If available at 32 (not likely) he has the ability to become our best corner.

I wonder, and I don’t know the inside on the medicals for him, but does a Caleb Farley fall to us and is that a risk/reward for us at 32.

Farley and Newsome are rated so closely together

I don’t know the outcome of Farley’s back operation

but no one seems to be concerned about it.

In some situations Farley is drafted before Newsome.

It’s hard to imagine either falling to the Bucs.

The Bucs seemed interested only in Newsome,

but whom a team is really interested in is often kept very quiet.

I heard there’s a 20% chance he needs a disc fusion, that’ll drop him out of the first..

They had close to a 100 virtual meetings , so focusing on a cpl is pointless

It’s just a different year. There’s no telling who anybody talked to or who anybody likes. Its the blind leading the blind more than ever this year. Mock drafters only have other mock drafters to use for reference, and pretty soon they build a general sense of who is going where, but its not based on anything coming from the teams. Of course that’s how it is every year, but even more so this year because everything is virtual, some players opted out, some had less games. I think more than any year we really have no clue what teams will do.

AB resigning is what might be a possible indication of no WR at 32.

They also had one with Tyson Campbell. He’s much more likely to be there.

^Tyson Campbell would also be a great fit. I have a feeling the Saints take a CB at 28, Payton’s come out and said they need a starter opposite Lattimore.

At this point I wouldn’t mind moving up or moving down, if there’s a solid prospect who falls and Licht decides to move up 5-8 spots to go get him, I’m great with that.. or if he decides to move back into the early 2nd, I’m good with that too.
