My personal opinion but none of the battle plans address our return games specifically later in the draft. Flipping the field with a good return can quickly change the momentum of a game. Two prospects that caught my attention are Demetric Felton UCLA and Jaelon Darden North Texas. Would love to hear your thoughts?

NFL has essentially eliminated kickoff returns and Jayden Mickens did well returning punts last year. Drafting a returner is a waste of a draft pick.

I posted this before the recent news of Mickens getting a felony charge…this just moved up the priority list. I do agree with your point about Kickoffs but disagree he was good on punt returns. We need someone that’s electric and a threat every time he touches the ball.

Mickens was a below average returner.
Arrested on top of it? Good bye.
KR/PR could be found cheap in FA or round 6/7 in the draft.

Bucs haven’t really cared about a good KR since Clifton Smith. Much like a dynamic RB with good hands, Bucs just don’t make it a point of emphasis.

Logan will be resigned and given a shot to retain those duties. Mickens was serviceable but could be upgraded for punt returns. Too bad he just got arrested for a lame ass pistol charge in California. Wack. Hope he beats it.

Mickens is terrible.
This is an opportunity to really upgrade the team. You take it and land a return specialist in the draft.
It has been too long for the Bucs since they had a return specialist that can flip the field.
Build the trenches!

Mickens was a good decision maker and had good ball security. Sucks he got arrested.
