This is the moment you’ve been waiting for, Bucs fans. The Bucs have a chance to make it to the postseason for the first time since 2007. We’ll all be paying attention to if they can finally get off to a fast start, but at the end of the day, the Bucs have beaten the teams that they’re supposed to beat, and this falls into that category.

Just like last week, the Bucs need to feed their best playmakers. Get Mike Evans the ball and keep throwing it Antonio Brown’s way. The Bucs showed how talented they can be for a half of football, now extend that to a full game. Tampa Bay’s defense has always played better with a lead, so it’ll hunting season for Shaq Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul if they can get start off better. With Christmas the day before the game, it would be a nice late present to clinch a wildcard spot and focus on playing football in January.

If the Bucs would play up to their potential, the game day thread would be full of accolades and be boring as hell. THIS is my Christmas wish for us all.

Are the Lions holding a raffle among season ticket holders to coach the defense this week?

Lions have screwed the Bucs out of a playoff game before. Terrible no call.

I hope they smash the Lions, but any given Sunday. Bucs need to stop shooting themselves in the foot. One day they aren’t going to be able to muster a comeback. They need this game.

They also need the Saints to lose.

Da Bears game should have been a win…

A win vs Chicago, and things would look a lot more rosey.

To paraphrase Forrest Gump, the Bucs are like a box of chocolates…you never know what you’re gonna get. On Saturday, it should be a good one.

Crappy playcalling for the first half, Tom to take over in the second and get the win. Bucs by 13.
Mike Evans to get a td and 117 yards and itch ever closer to history.

I want it to be the Mike Evans show. Detroit is piss poor in pass D.

Yeah. Definitely a heartbreaker, the entire team looked like they were high that game.

And the Rams loss was pitiful as well. Those two were very winnable games to me.

I said it already but it requires repeating: the pressure is completely on the Bucs and their coaching staff. The Lions have nothing to play for, except tape next season.

This is a game that is completely about coaching getting these guys prepared and ready to face that enormous pressure to make the playoffs. If they lose this, honestly, Brice Arians needs to be fired after the season without a doubt. This team is loaded. No reason to look as bad as they have. That is on coaching. Completely.

I don’t know why I’m so nervous right now. Guess it’s because I’ve been a Bucs fan since the beginning and I’ve gotten my hopes up so many times through the years only to be let down and disappointed. In the situations they should excel and thrive, they tend to fall flat no matter the faces on the team. Hopefully this is all worrying for nothing today! Let’s go Bucs!

An overthrow from Brady on first down and a short run from Fournette and Bucs face third-and-9.

And Brady is sacked quickly on third down but an offsides penalty bails out the Bucs. They’ll get another chance, this time on third-and-4.

Brady goes deep down the right sideline and finds Gronkowski for the touchdown.

Succop’s kick is off the right upright and Tampa Bay leads 6-0 early.

After forcing Detroit to punt, Brady moves the Bucs downfield with a 47-yard completion to Chris Godwin and finishes the drive with a deep touchdown pass to Mike Evans.

Tampa Bay takes the 13-0 lead.
