Injuries on both sides of the ball leaves the Bucs in flux for this road game against the Panthers. Chris Godwin is done for the season and it doesn’t look like Mike Evans or Leonard Fournette will play. They’ll get Antonio Brown back for the first time in over two months, while Ronald Jones becomes the starting running back once again.I’m expecting a lot of RoJo on the ground and a bounce back game from Rob Gronkowski. That might just be enough for the Bucs.

All of the injuries on defense aren’t great either. Lavonte David could be out for the rest of the regular season and Antoine Winfield Jr. hasn’t practice yet this week. They’ll get help playing against Cam Newton, who’s not the quarterback he used to be. Outside of Winfield, the rest of the secondary is finally healthy with Mike Edwards and Jamel Dean ready to return. I think the Bucs play tight coverage and allow Shaq Barrett and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to take down Newton. There’s reports that Sam Darnold could play too, which is fine. Tampa Bay gets two turnovers in the game. My guess is either Edwards – the team’s best ballhawk, or Carlton Davis – the team’s best cornerback, gets a pick while the Bucs also force a fumble on a strip sack. The Bucs beat Carolina in the first of their two games over the next three weeks.

What do you think will go down in this game? Sound off on the PR message board.

I agree Matt, I think the ground game will bounce back, Jones should have a solid day, I’m thinking over 120 yards combined ground/receiving. With the effective ground game, we should be able to open up play action for a few shots deep, counting on one of our young wideouts to make a play.

Question is, who is the GOAT going to throw the ball to?<br />

No Evans, No Godwin, AB questionable.

That leaves Miller and Johnson? Gronk better get over his shit and be ready to shoulder the offense.

Hell, can’t even throw to Fournette.

Not to mention losing Winfield and David on defense.

      Geez.

I can see us losing, and still not wrapping up the South.

That would mean the Dolphins lost to a Saints team starting a 4th string QB.

Who’s going to make the biggest impact at WR RB and/or ST?

Scotty Miller, Justin Watson, Cyril Grayson, Tyler Johnson, Keyshawn Vaughn or Leveon Bell?

Running the ball well so naturally Lefty abandons it.

Panthers are elite vs the pass too.

Again we could have set the tone and ran it down their throat and chewed clock.

Instead we punt and give up a score.

      Lefty is freaking brain dead.

I cannot remember the last time a play SCHEMED someone open

Lol awesome Run!! Whenever Bruce and Byron realize we are a running team with 3 pro bowl offensive linemen and continue to run the ball, we will be unbeatable like last year! Then play action will kill others! It’s not that damn hard! We been holding ourselves back trying to throw 40+ times a game.

Hopefully lefty is realising we run the ball we win this game. Let rojo run all day and he’ll break a few big runs then get Tom in his groove with play action. Let’s goooo bucs

White has struggled since day 1, had a few good splash plays in the playoffs, shouldn’t hide the fact he has been horrible a lot of the time

Unfortunately whitehead likely gone after this year. Adams is a fine #3.

I think Antoine’s box abilities and edwards’ range will cause his exit unfortunately

Never gave up on Vaughn…kid just needs more reps to get comfortable. You can’t rip apart the SEC, playing for Vandy, without having some skill. Love that run for the young man, he needed a confidence booster

Yet again 1st and 5. 3 runs and we get 1st down for sure. Nah let’s start passing again without all our weapons. 3 points instead. These coaches are so freaking dense

I don’t have a problem with going for two after the penalty. I even thought the playcall was pretty good. Give Carolina credit for defending it well.

Rollout to one side with 2 point conversions.

I can’t tell if it’s just recency bias but I feel like I keep seeing this play fail over and over.

      And I hate the call.

      20-6 is 2 TDs.

Makes no sense to go up 15

A needed win to clinch the NFC South and the Bucs came out of the game without any serious injuries. Shaq Barrett suffered a knee problem and tried to play in the 3rd Qtr. before he was held out the rest of the game. Hopefully it is something that can heal. Maybe sit him against the Jets next week to allow Shaq to heal up.

I know he doesn’t scramble very often, but Brady needs to tuck the ball up tight when he does. That’s why he fumbled in the Saints game last week.
