Are you ready for this! Bucs football is back! That feels really good to say. Not only is the 2021 season upon us, but the Bucs get to kick things off as the defending Super Bowl champions.

The first game of the year should be very entertaining one against the Cowboys. The Bucs are returning all-22 starters with many analysts picking them to win the Super Bowl again. The Cowboys on the other hand have a very talented offense, but Dak Prescott is coming back from a broken leg and their guard, Zack Martin, won’t be playing as he’s on the COVID list.

I think the Bucs are going to blow this game out. There’s not much that can stop Tom Brady and this team except for self inflicted mistakes. I’m looking forward to seeing what the defense can do, especially with nose tacke Vita Vea, outside linebacker Shaq Barrett and the rest of the guys up front. The best match-up in the entire game might even be cornerback Carlton Davis covering against Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb.

A full crowd will be on display as the Bucs get back to where they won Super Bowl LV. How do you think this one will go? Tell us your thoughts on the PR message board!

I think its going to be sloppy on offense for both sides, expecting a low scoring game. I’m thinking placekickers and a lone defensive touchdown will be the difference makers.

      Buccaneers 16, Cowboys 13.

Interesting, @3rd String Kicker. I do feel the Bucs defense will be able to handle the Cowboys offense, especially if the Bucs get out to a lead. However, Tampa Bay’s first-team offense looked great getting ready for the game and I don’t see how the defense of Dallas can stop the Bucs from scoring at least 30 points.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, the Pewter Report staff made our predictions for tonight’s game.

What’s the biggest match-up in this game that could decide it?

I’m hoping Matt is on point here and not Jon, because I have seen Jon’s narrative all too often as a Buc fan on opening day lol.

Bowles is a step behind with our defensive play calling.
