Is there a reason the PIT BAL game got moved but DEN had to play, literally, without a QB today? Was the NFL just punishing the Donks for something in the protocols that they did especially wrong as opposed to the Ravens?

Broncos held in-person meetings (which are supposed to be done virtually) and the QB’s were found to have not been wearing masks either (another violation) on top of not cooperating with the contact tracing protocols. So it was essentially a punishment.

PFT: Broncos’ quarterbacks were not cooperative with contact tracing

its utterly absurd that game was played. at most they should have just fined the team and docked a draft pick and moved it back. if Baltimore doesnt get hammered for their ongoing outbreak Denver should be outraged. that game has been moved twice already

Goodell always says hes about protecting the shield but this went totally against that. you arent protecting the game when you allow that travesty to happen. thats not a good product to put on the field

between Taysom Hills lame 80 yard passing and the one completion from Denver they set the game back 100 years

if nothing else every NFC team in the playoff hunt besides the Saints should be pissed because that was essentially a forfeit and gave the Saints a free win

Exactly. Easy game for the Saints. Feels like the league has been rooting for the Saints all season long for some reason.

LMAO, what? Our opponents have been flagged the 3rd fewest in the league this year (only Houston and Baltimore’s opponents have fewer penalties called) and are 2nd fewest in penalty yardage (behind Baltimore).

Meanwhile, y’all are tied for 4th most in beneficiary penalties (only Arizona, New York Jets, and Detroit have more penalties in their favor) and are 1st in beneficiary yardage.

Seems like the league is pulling more for y’all than us.

If that were as true as you think it was, his cronies wouldn’t have pulled the rug out from under us in the NFC Championship 2 years ago.

Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t sniff another championship until Payton is no longer on our sideline. The league office has a massive distaste for the man and its undeniable.

Yea that was bad a few years ago. Whats the word on Brees? Is he gonna play again this year or is Hill the guy from here on out?

Apparently Brees is progressing, but I haven’t seen any legitimate news regarding “target” return dates. However rumors are putting it likely around either the Chiefs (12/20) or Vikings (12/25) game. If it’s indeed for the Chiefs game, that’d put it 5+ weeks from the second set of fractures in the 49ers game and 6+ weeks from the initial fractures in our second game.

That is of course providing we can remain afloat with Hill at the helm. I think if we’re 4-0 going into the Chiefs game (which is feasible considering we have the Falcons and Eagles between then), they may just have him sit and bring him back against the Vikings.

No need to rush things for them. Division is in the bag. Hopefully we can come together with all the talent we have and give you some issues in the playoffs but we got a long way to go.

@BucBalla85 (didn’t want to quote the long thread again, LOLOL)

I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily “in the bag”, but we’re definitely getting closer. 2 more wins or 1 win and a loss by y’all should clinch the division. But indeed so, y’all definitely have moments where y’all appear to have the offense clicking then everything goes to ****, whether its Arians, Leftwich, or something else. Definitely puzzling to say the least but y’all definitely could make some noise with the right convergence of events.

Have you seen your schedule? It’s in the bag.
