…and is now awaiting Gov. Scott’s signature. Still not a fan of allowing “some teachers and staff” to carry guns in school and will pull my child out of their current school if it’s allowed.

Everything else is sensible and a start. Interesting to see how it plays out.

Several of the larger school districts have said no and the bill defers to them

Signed it and the NRA almost immediately filed a legal challenge, which shows how sensible it is overall. Still opposed to the arming teachers nonsense … didn’t realize Scott was too and plans to try and get monies diverted to more resource officers … but the access to guns part is a good start.

The arming teachers part is optional. Republican smoke & mirrors.

The new law is a good start in many ways. Long way to go

Of course the NRA filed suit. Again, they don’t represent gun owners of the public’s best interest.

They are approaching panic mode, and rightfully so.

The NRA is a heartless group of assholes. Can’t change progress and the NRA is on the wrong side of progression.
