With the draft coming up, I wanted to bring back one of my favourite threads to make, the scouting report. I look at the NFL prospects on each team, small school, big school, whatever. I’ll give my honest opinion and I hope you guys enjoy it. LIBERTY:Walt Aikens, CB, 6"1, 203Ibs:By all means the best player on the field. He was all over the field, making big tackles and missing none. No mistakes from Aikens in this game. He locked down all of Kent State's receivers and shut down all of their outside running and screen plays. He has exceptional instincts as he breaks down plays as they happen. He is a very physical corner and that is kind of "in-style" in today's NFL. He's the leader of that team and I'm expecting him to be quite the player in the NFL. Big-time expectations for a small-school player. He is, to me, a mix of Richard Sherman and Desmond Trufant. He plays angry and it works in his favour.Projections: 3rd Round, Future NFL Starter, 82 GradeFrancis Bah,  DT, 6"2, 301Ibs:Nothing much to see here. Bah was easily taken out of this game by a single Offensive Lineman. He is very sluggish, and has a low-motor to go along with it. He was never around the play in time to do anything note-worthy but when the opportunity was there he did make tackles, but that wasn't very often. He also isn't strong enough to move lineman around in the running game. Don't expect anything out of Bah in the future.Projections: UDFA, Never Plays, 39 GradeKENT STATEDri Archer, WR, 5"8, 173Ibs:Archer is an offence weapon, something that occurs fairly commonly in college football. He played most of the skill positions throughout the season but that type of player never works in the NFL. He is fragile as he got injured on the first possession. He is too small to take hits in the NFL. I never understood Archer's hype. He is athletic but his best case scenario, in my opinion, is a kick returner. Kind of like Trindon Holliday.Projections: 6th Round, Future Kick Returner, 63 GradeRoosevelt Nix, ILB, 5"11, 248Ibs:Nix was my pleasant surprise of this film session. He plays bigger then he actually is, he made a lot of big-time tackles and he can match up with anyone you give him. Kent State uses him on the D-Line for some reason. He is more of a hybrid player. He has a very high-motor, at one point he was thrown to the ground, got up and sacked the QB. He reminds me of Dekoda Watson. A depth LB but a fantastic special teams player.Projections: 5th Round, Future ST Ace, 69 GradeTyshon Goode, WR, 6"0, 196Ibs:Goode is a very lanky WR who has decent hands. He adjusted well to the football when it was thrown to him but didn't have the strength or agility to do much more after the catch. He isn't a problem for defences in the running game as he gets man-handled by defensive players. He is a bit inconsistent catching the football but his quarterback isn't exactly stellar. In this deep of a WR class, Goode isn't going to be drafted. He is a lot like Skye Dawson for example. Nothing more then a special team WR.Projections: UDFA, Practice Squad, 56 GradeThats all for this game played by two small-schools. However I personally think a couple of them could be good players at the next level. Hope you enjoyed! Thank for reading! Look for another Report later today. Not sure which game though.

Thanks for posting. It’s funny, I like Aikens a bit. I think Aikens drops into round 5 and Archer is a reach in round 3.

No problem, Its just that I walked away impressed with Aikens and disappointed in Archer. Archer can either be Denard Robinson or Trindon Holliday. I just don't know which. Either way, ceiling is KR.

Ya, he impressed me as-well. Not going to be a starter but he will be a great ST player and good depth LB. Maybe he'll get his chance eventually tho.

Some people think he might be a fullback (Bruce Miller 2.0), others think he might be a linebacker… team will have to find a position for him to play…

He would be a good day 2 pickup, he really is a good player. And yes its too bad our previous regime threw away draft picks
