New York Gov. Kathy Hochul made it clear on Monday that hospital nurses who refuse to be vaccinated would be fired by midnight. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has made it clear that people illegally flooding into the U.S. on the southern border aren’t required to be tested or vaccinated for Covid-19.

So–12,000 unvaccinated illegal immigrant Haitians are currently being fully supported by the United States but a healthcare worker in New York who doesn’t want the vaccine is currently unemployed and is not even eligible for unemployment benefits.

      Where are the priorities?

It’s been well-documented that there’s very little, if any, testing at the border with even less distancing standards. Healthcare workers in NY are being fired and they are calling the National Guard for help.

      Which parts are untrue?

Please explain what is gaslighting about the post. I checked a few sources prior to posting and I couldn’t find anything incorrect in the post.

You are being manipulated into believing two absolute bullshit statements that are pointless to even debate…

      1.) Democrats want open borders
      2.) Immigrants are bringing covid

It’s interesting that the same group of people that are upset that Immigrants are bringing covid, are the same people that have their panties in a wad because they have to wear a mask, social distance, and get a vaccine… but also are willing to inject horse and/or malaria drugs into their body.

What is gaslighting? Well look it up but it’s arguing through manipulation… throw enough stuff out there that puts you on the offensive. It’s a classic debate tactic.

In this case you are expecting me to do a few things:

Debate NY covid protocol when we all know New York has a very specific set of circumstances that make it an easy target for a virus (mass transit, travel hub, high/dense population)

Then you want me to debate the open border policy… but what has actually changed from the caravans that were coming under Trump to the caravans that are coming under Biden? The difference is Trump got on the offensive and used it as fear porn, while Biden is not. Same problem, different administration. Nothing has changed. Very few people ACTUALLY want an open border.

Then you want me to defend this parallel between the two wildly different set of circumstances as some for of hypocrisy on the left based on false assumptions.

So I can try to engage and defend from a barrage of articles, posters, posts, and false claims that come out so fast you can barely keep up…

Or I can say, we don’t agree on this because we can’t even agree on basics facts.

Regarding number one, are you saying there aren’t Dems that want open borders? There definitely are, just like there Libertarians that do. Not to mention, this is a strawman. The OP said nothing about open borders.

Regarding number two, you appear to be woefully misinformed on that subject as well:

WASHINGTON — More than 18 percent of migrant families and 20 percent of unaccompanied minors who recently crossed the U.S. border tested positive for Covid on leaving Border Patrol custody over the past two to three weeks, according to a document prepared this week for a Thursday briefing with President Joe Biden.

In this case you are expecting me to do a few things:

The only thing I’m expecting you to do is back up what you are saying regarding gaslighting. That’s something you haven’t been able to do up this point.

Or I can say, we don’t agree on this because we can’t even agree on basics facts.

When one of us either doesn’t know the facts of reality or won’t admit them, this is very true.

Under Trump caravans headed our way, but they were stopped due to Trump’s stay in Mexico policy. Your boy, Biden, nixed that policy. Hence, 10s of thousands of migrants in a camp across our border. That, my friend, is what changed.

Sheesh Fire, you’re doing the exact same thing with your first two points. Why do you feel the need to defend everything this administration is doing instead of just being a concerned citizen like the rest of us?

      LOL ok ok sorry.

Look, it ought to be interesting to any human being that people at the border aren’t all forced to get a covid test before they get dumped off in a major U.S. city while a nurse in NY can’t decide they don’t want to take the vaccine even if they’ve already had Covid?

That nurse may have better and longer lasting protection than the vaccine provides already but who cares right.

“Julian Castro, the former San Antonio mayor and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, has released an actual plan to decriminalize illegal border-crossings, but he insists that policy does not amount to open borders because those who cross the border illegally would still be subject to civil penalties.

“This is not something that’s radical,” Castro told reporters following Wednesday night’s debate. “People still have to show up to a court hearing. They are still subject to deportation.”

But on Thursday night, moderator Mario Diaz-Balart asked the candidates: “If someone is here without documents, and that is their only offense, is that person to be deported?” Most of the candidates who commented said that person should not be deported. “No, absolutely not, they should not be deported,” Kamala Harris said. (Joe Biden walked up to the line, but didn’t quite cross it. “That person should not be the focus of deportation.”)

If you combine the policy of decriminalizing illegal entry with opposition to deporting anyone who hasn’t committed a serious crime, how does that amount to anything other than “open borders”? ”

      Found that on NationalReview…

Are these misquotes?…taken out of context? Are they “just talking politics”? Please defend them on their words.

Again, asking you to show how/why these are illegitimate questions? Of course there are many more examples..of them…in their own words…written and spoken.

Specifically asking you if these quotes are fake.

It would be helpful to defend them against your own words- “absolute bullshit statements that are pointless to even debate…

      1.) Democrats want open borders”

Please briefly describe what gaslighting means to you. How does it relate to this post?

Unless you can show the quotes are fake/context, resist the urge to kill the messenger and focus on the quotes.

Irony meter making some noise “…pointless to even debate”…spoken at a debate🤷🏻‍♂️

“This is not something that’s radical,” Castro told reporters following Wednesday night’s debate. “People still have to show up to a court hearing. They are still subject to deportation.”

This is where people like Castro rely on ignorance. You are only subject to deportation if you commit a crime. By making entering the country illegally a civil offence, they are by definition not subject to deportation unless they are arrested for some other crime of “moral turpitude.” And pound to a piece of shit that will be litigated until the cows come home because if it is not defined with any detail.

It’s such a joke and so obvious. But, but, but he said it’s not open borders.

Way over 11 million illegal immigrants in the country. Somebody is turning a blind eye.

At a congressional hearing it was revealed that Biden has warned Border Patrol agents they needed to be vaccinated by November or they will be terminated.

Earlier in the day, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked by lawmakers what their approach to vaccinating illegal immigrants is, and he told them the illegal immigrants are asked if they want it—that taking the Covid vaccine is their choice.
