  Been following Jace Daniels since he arrived last year ( who, even though Scott correctly mentioned was an undrafted free agent, he actually didn’t sign until after rookie mini-camp as a tryout). Being another Coach Schiano find, it was interesting that Daniels’ head coach at Northern Michigan, Chris Ostrowsky, was the 1998 high school coach of the year out of Newark, New Jersey.

  Good stuff on Daniels. I hadn’t realized he was so deep into learning the C position; had only seen him at G. I remember his college highlight tape on YT last year as a LT; very athletic guy who could MOVE, and move in a hurry. Warhop is a "speed in space" guy too; LIKE it!The measure of a good team isn't just the number of top-tier draft picks they hit on. How well they develop the bottom half of their draft and UFAs is a much bigger factor than many realize...
