Share what your “go to” beers are during the summer season.

When I go out offshore, it’s usually Bud Light for quantity and overall appeal to the masses.

But, I have really started to like goses and sours during the warmer months.

      How’s about you all?

Use to be a Bud Light man. Switched to Natty and have looked back. Not really into craft beer but have tried a few that aren’t to bad.

Sam Summer is good. I like their Rebel and Rebel Grapefruit.

You all should check out Collective Arts brewery.

Their “Life in the Clouds” and “Guava Gose” are top notch.

      Still a Guinness Draft man,

the 14.8 oz can with the plastic ball.

      Tried a Michelob Light recently.

Not generally a “light’ man, but it was quite good.

I like Michelob Ultra with food. Has a good combo. Give Michelob Ultra Amber a shot too, with some wings or mozz sticks.

However, I don’t think there is much taste to just drink it by itself.

It’s all about the local craft brewery for me when drinking beer for pure pleasure. Two good ones where I live. Lots of unfiltered NE style IPA’s. Can’t stand the sours.

I used to like dogfish head a lot. I still have a tshirt floating somewhere around the house that I should dig out. Pretty good stuff.

Edit: Is it Friday yet? Dang this thread is making me think of sitting on the beach with a cold dogfish head and that teeshirt. Ahhhhh I like the 60 minute IPA. It’s like 9% alcohol.

      Gotta get outa here.

I could be wrong, but I thought the 60 minute was 6% and the 90 minute was 9%.

I still have a couple 120 minutes sitting in the fridge. Though, they are about a year old, so no idea how it would taste at this point.

But, yeah, this thread is wanting me to get offshore, put some lines out, and enjoy some ice cold brew.

I was referring to myself and using some self-deprecating humor… chill dude.

And what I wrote (which never posted) as the Guinness is my favorite… obviously from tap.

What I also said is that I live in the microbrew capital of America so I’m a bit of a beer snob… then I listed a bunch of great beers.

But this website is trash and it never posted and when I tried it again it said duplicate so, what can you do?

      Have a beer I suppose

You’re right… their labeling is a little confusing though. I’ve never even seen a 120 minute although I hadn’t been looking for them. They wouldn’t have lasted two weeks in my fridge. Looks like one would do it unless you’re drinking all day long or just trying to get hammered. Great now I’m going to go find this. Maybe a little heavy for all day on the boat though. This looks like a good one for movie night.

At work we have a n informal beer group, in a normal environment. The group has been drinking at home. They dropped a box in my office that is one of each tried by the members recently.

Lots of questions to follow … along with a lot of sampling.
