I asked a Jaguars friend of mine a hypothetical:

Vita Vea, Devin White, Antonio Winfield, Tristian Wirfs, OJ Howard, and Chris Godwin for Trevor Lawrence and he declined.

Now me personally, would never give that up for a rookie QB but wanted to stress the importance of having a team around a rookie QB prior to selecting one.

If you look at Baltimore and Kansas City, they appeared to have done it right. Draft a QB when you have a playoff caliber team already in place.

It’s exactly what i think Tampa should do maybe in 2022 draft. Draft a first or second round QB next year and sit on the bench in what could be Bradys final year. I say Brady calls it quits after 3 peating :)

There are 2 quarterbacks in this draft I would personally take over Lawrence. I was never impressed with his game in college, and now he’s going to a pitiful franchise. The Urban Meyer experiment is destined to be a big fail.
