…we’re seeing the importance of a good running game this post-season.Both of yesterday's games were played outdoors in less-than-ideal situations and keys were ability to run and stop the run.Beast Mode goes for 140 and 2 TD's.....Seahawks win640_2014_01_12_08_48_52.jpgLGB goes for 166 and 4 TDs......Pats winColts_Patriots_Football-0d879-1208.jpgMaybe a good running game hasn't gone the way of the dinosaur just yet.... and it wouldn't shock me if both teams made it to this year's cold weather Superbowl and it turns into a game dominated by....gasp....running backs?

Both teams got ahead and were able to grind out wins. The bulk of the yards for those guys came on a couple of big runs late and ahead. Get ahead, run to sustain the lead.

Both teams got ahead as a result of opportunistic defensive play and strong running games….Brady hit a few key throws for sure, but the running attack is what set the tone for them.

If Blount runs like that this postseason consistently… And that line opens up holes wider than Carl Nicks… Crown them.

The Patriots are the favorite here on out.

Perhaps but a nice little stat about the Colts this year.  Colts came back from double digits down 3 times in regular season. Went 0-3 the following games and were outscored 97-28.  After the Colts came back from down big against the Chiefs last week, stats showed they were in big trouble yesterday and the scored shows it

No, Pats defense is too suspect to be favored over Donks and they are not as good a team as SF or SEA.

OP, incorrect. A good running games means nothing to anyone. Just ask the Glennon-haters. A running game does not help any other part of the offense.

LOL….working pretty well for Niners too. For some reason, the Panthers wanna throw their way to Seattle despite having a good run game….oh well…..Niners and Hawks next week it appears…..may the best running attack win!

Wrong, the running game does mean something. And that running game should come from your QB, not your running backs.  ::)
