Michigan State Head Coach Mark Dantonio. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_DantonioThis guy is a former player and has earn his shot while our former coach had not earned a shot at the NFL. Dantonio resume is impressive. I'd love the new Bucs GM to at the least interview this guy.

Me touting this guy hurts because I'm an Ohio State Alum. But this guy has been on my radar for several years when Dantonio was DC at Ohio State under Tressel.

why Dantonio? he has ZERO NFL experience. it makes no sense at all. Schiano actually had NFL coaching experienceif we went with anyone from college it would be Bill O'Brien or David Shaw. those are the only 2 real options and id rather go with a proven NFL guy

At least Dantonio has a proven winning record everywhere he has played or coached. 63-29 at Michigan State alone. He has the best Defense in college football the past 2 years. Just ask WIlliam Gholston about him.

Yes, because fresh blood is comparable to a guy that’s been in the NFL several years now?Schiano certainly wasn't perfect, had room for improvement and that chance has been stripped away from him.No suprise, with these idiot owners. Anyone, even Chip Kelly, would have failed to bring this disaster of a team anywhere in two years.

I think a lot of people need to scale back their expectations a bit. With that said, shaw might be a good one. Hard to say really.Either way, it "should" be an improvement. We've heard that before though.
