Week 1 at Atlanta looks to be a MUST WIN.Week 2 is at Arizona (yuck!)Tidbits: the week before the Raiders come to Tampa, they play at Jacksonville............Christmas weekend, almost all games are on Saturday. 2 late games on Sunday. Thanks for thinking of families for once, NFL :-)
Predictions… the way way too optimistic version. We go 10-6@Atlanta Win@Arizona LossLos Angeles WinDenver Loss@Carolina LossBye@San Fran WinOakland WinAtlanta WinChicago Win@Kansas City LossSeattle Loss@San Diego WinNew Orleans Win@Dallas Win@New Orleans WinCarolina Loss
Two road games to start the season and then 2 out of 3 on the road to end it? That’s terrible. Plus the west coast games including AZ are scheduled for early their time, while Seattle comes to Tampa and plays late afternoon game. Diminishes the time zone advantage for the Bucs there. Obviously have to rack up the wins in the 5 of 7 block in the middle of the season. Think Bucs got screwed on this one.
7-9 is realistic. 9-7 and I would be ecstatic. No cake walk schedule this year.
First glance I was like here comes another 6 win season. Every year changes though, there will be playoff teams from last year that end up sucking, there will be teams that you have down for a win that end up being good, injuries ect. ect. Defensive scheme change, Winston with a year under his belt, FA signings and draft class hopefully all these work out and we are one of the surprise teams this year... It can happen.
