I paid hard earned money to watch a college team play against pro teams most of this year. We saw inept play calling and horrific clock management.  The team was ill prepared to go into the regular season and frankly we were not even competitive for most of the year. Today’s debacle against New Orleans makes this regime Winless against them. They put up 40 points on us today and we looked like a team that did not care. The tom foolery with special teams at the end of the first half was absolutely the dumbest crap I have ever seen. Nobody does that and why the heck would they ?  We’re we trying to fool them we were gonna punt with 40 seconds left?  Please for the love of God get these idiots out of here.  I will not renew to watch this type of idiocy.  No one was fooled. It was just a pathetic showing and an ill prepared team and if I hear we were out coached again, I may have to throw my shoe at Schiano in his presser. If we are out coached repeatedly, then Greg needs to go. He is not ready for this level. Not even close. Maybe a coordinator or assistant but not a head coach. This team quit today. As for the O line....worst unit on the team.  We have guys like number 29 who don't belong on the field and this team is soft. The OLine plays soft.  Their is no heart. I was embarrassed that we got it handed to us today.  It was an example of high school vs the pros.  Please sell this team. Give us an ownership that gives a damn. And as for those lousy excuses for screens at Ray Jay....get real. If you can't get the Tampa Sports Authority to update then step up you bunch of carpet bangers. Your team sucks and I am my neighbors are done supporting your sorry asses. I am fed up. Done. I am becoming a Lightning Fan. It's over you cheap lousy owners.  I can't stand you. An ex. Buc Fan

I’m sadly almost there too. Many friends stopped watching altogether as well.Schiano and the glazers have hurt the team much more than help. It's pathetic how schiano can't help because he's a bad coach, and the glazers wont help because they're busy with manu atm.Have we won anything of merit since they bought that team?

A couple points.Leonard is out there because they have no one better right now. That could change before next season.  And I am sure he is doing his best filling that hole on the defense.I think Schiano gets one more year.  The Glazers will want to see marked improvement in all areas, especially at the QB position. So Schiano's fate depends on Glennon's success or lack thereof.A Lightning fan?  I always joke with people when hockey comes up in the conversation. I tell them I am not sure what end of the stick you are supposed to hold.

I feel like I should feel that way too, but there is a limit man. Just so much a person can take, ya know? Only human. It's not just the losses, it's the stupidity of the ownership and the choices they have made, within their lives, as well as business here. How can I support a team, who's very owners aren't a fan of?I'll always feel as if the bucs are my main team, but I will indeed calm down my spending considerably and proceed to be a bad advertisement for the glazers if they keep schiano. I may not matter, but many of us will.. at least some.

I cannot support the team with these owners. If ownership changes their pathetic excuses and shows interest in winning, I might become interested again. We are the Sucs again. It’s back to 1976. It’s really sad but its true.  No one cares anymore and I am not gonna deny that people just don’t want to go see this product. I know many will be shocked but I just have lost my interest in throwing my money away. I wrote the Bucs and informed them that I am done. When we don't even have a highlight real to show that ought to tell you how bad we are coached.

Schefter said Sunday night, although he thinks Schiano is safe, you never know what the Glazers are thinking. So I guess there is still a shot he is gone. But I doubt it.

When will the casual fan realize the NFL is built around the lottery? Franchise QB’s are the winning lottery tickets. Winning lottery tickets are rare. The fans that want to fire head coaches/GM’s/ Owners/ OC/DC, etc, are fans of the team that wasn’t lucky on the lottery ticket. There are roughly 2 franchise QB’s that come to the NFL every year, so we have a 1/16 chance, only on the years we draft a QB. We will be in perpetual sadness until we get lucky, most teams fans grow used to it and accept it, but for some reason, this message board just wants to put it 100% on the front office.

I’m not against the Glazers owning the team, but I do believe with all of their “interests” spread everywhere they should hire a President to manage the team as a whole. Somebody who could focus on the team and team alone. Kind of like Denver did with John Elway.

If Schiano is kept, I’ll still watch the Bucs. From home. For free. Not spending another dime on this team until things change.

You will have to find an option to watch the game from home then because the games will be blacked out again next year and this ownership won't shell out the money again to buy out all the tickets needed to televise the games.

Exactly, I honestly believe they care about winning but may need some football guidance. Start off with a Team President....then new GM.....and finally a new COACH

Definitely not against the Glazers, who made the very unusual and bold move to get Jon Gruden. A very frustrating year, no question.         IMO, we need a SERIOUS upgrade to our offensive game-planning. If Schiano refuses to bring in a more aggressive up-tempo style OC, he needs to go. We are WASTING a very talented young QB in this style offense; he could be SO much better in an up-temo offense...

The op is a real crybaby. You gotta stick with tour team through the tough times. That’s what a fan is and why my friends that are Vikings fans and browns fans think many of us buc fans suck. They are correct.. just pop in your championship tape and get a grip vagina.

I have watched a lot of bad football as a long-term Bucs fan.  When your team is not making progress or underperforming versus the talent on the roster, it is frustrating.  I went to the Bears game yesterday instead of watch the Bucs.  I think my biggest fear is that Schiano is too stubborn for today’s NFL and he is no X’s and O’s guru.  We could have the same results next year or worse.  I have nothing against Dom or the Glazers, but I think the Dungy to Gruden move really made them think they had the Midas touch.  I think Dom stays if he wanted Kelly and the Glazers could not deliver him.  I think Shiano may have been a Glazer call.

Does no good posting that here ...they will never see it.  Go to http://www.buccaneers.com, select "Contact Us" at the bottom, select "Ticket Sales" as the group you want to contact and paste in your comments.  The only way the Glazer's will make a move is if they feel a total revolt coming from the fan base ...and thats a big IF seeing as they're playing with house money already due to the large TV contracts.

With respect, it may be you who doesn't realize how close we are to those days. The expansion record was expansion in a different era. Nobody expected it to go well and frankly being in an NFC Championship game a few years in was better than most expansion teams manage. I'd rather have the 0-2x and NFC Championship soon after that than a few wins in the first two years and no playoffs after that. That said ...Article in the Trib pointed this out:

With Sunday's loss, the lads have now lost at least 12 games in three of the last five seasons. It's not quite as wretched as 1983-86, when the Bucs dropped 14 games in the three of four seasons.

It's not as bad ... but it's close enough as to not really be worth arguing about.

Just because there is a certain type of sports fan (which exists in all fan-bases in all cities in all countries) who cannot countenance any remarks which betray anything but 100% support in your team at all times: I am a Bucs fan. I will always be a Bucs fans. I cannot be anything but a Bucs fans in the sport of football. I am trapped. However I certainly can empathize with OP. I hate* the Bucs owners. I hate the Bucs staff. I support the following teams: Lightning, USF, Rays, Everton and Bucs. The Bucs are by far the least exciting of those teams (and USF were pretty bad this year). I'm not 100% sold on Taggart or the admin at USF but Skip did a lot of damage and it's too early to judge there. As for the Rays -- they are forward-thinking, smart people. Wish they had more money to spend but I get it ... and they certainly do the best with what they have. The Lightning? Forward-thinking smart people who invest heavily in the stadium and the team. Everton (EPL) have a new manager who is highly regarded, smart and forward-thinking. The Bucs are boring, stale, no direction, and no plan (Chip Kelly to Schiano). I do not enjoy having to watch the games each week.I'll be here. I'll carry on. But I am not going to pretend I'm not bored by this team. Talent-wise I think we are good to great when healthy. Some gaps of course but who doesn't? We have above average talent. DVOA has us above a lot of teams with better records. Do I think it's the players of the staff responsible for under-performing? Obviously I think the staff. We have good players -- sadly the owners and staff just can't get out of the players way and give them what they need to succeed.*"Sports hate" ... relax guy who loves scoring MB points by saying "hate is a strong word, don't use it in sports, I am so much better than you!"

Yet the Bucs passed on quality Free Agent Talent in Brent Grimes (Pro Bowl),  Sean Smith, Antoine Cason and Derek Cox. We also let go of Aquib Talib (Pro Bowl). Good Coaches get players to adapt. We don't need a bunch of Minions following a Dictator. We need playmakers that a coach can mold into one cohesive unit.

I'm not talking about record necessarily. The 0-16 Lions were not worse than the Bucs at their worst.I'm talking about ownership running the franchise solely for money regardless of winning and being worse than the average NFL owner. Invoking Culverhouse as some do is ridiculous, and regardless of our record or the Glazer's competence in surrounding themselves with good football people, I believe the Glazer's intentions are nowhere near Culverhouse levels.
