#BREAKING: 54-35, Senate Republicans block effort to open debate on bill to create an outside commission to probe Jan. 6 attack. The vote marks their first successful legislative filibuster this Congress. House Dems are now considering opening a Dem-led probe into the attack
For 4 plus years now, as things have steadily gotten worse, you Trumpers have repeatedly claimed that negative reactions to Trump and Trumpism were unfair overreactions. You’ve tucked it up as “libs” who just think “Orange Man Bad”
The filibuster shouldn’t be eliminated but instead limited to require that a senator hold the floor by speaking (as it used to be). And the filibuster should be restored for Supreme Court nominees. Laws can be re-evaluated every Congress; SCOTUS appointments are for a lifetime.
Hilarious! like the last time they found the truth in the Mueller report and then proceeded to ignore it and impeach anyway.
The truth as Nancy Pelosi sees it on just about any topic you can imagine is not something I’m likely to agree with…. the “truth”! The whole idea of that coming from a politician is bonkers.
Yes I agree, JBear, with your condemnation of the Republicans not participating in a bipartisan investigation. Now its up to the Democrats, and there is no avoiding it being seen as being biased no matter what the outcome. Thank you for looking at this objectively.
Didn’t the Great Prophet Donald J Trump foresee this “Nothing Happening” when he signed that Executive Order that authorizes a penalty of up to 10 years in prison for the willful injury of Federal property?
