Worked well last year but all teams did it this way. Maybe an advantage for teams who participate?

there appears to be a national strengthening of labor unions, and this falls in line with that movement.

I imagine the practice squad guys are bummed because they’d like the per diem and want a shot to impress the coaches with their work ethic.

I wonder if this has more to do with the daily testing protocols and all the hoopla.

Wouldn’t it be funny to see TB12 still hold workouts offsite.

Less required protocol for player lead workouts

Every single quarantine and positive case the NFL had last year….not one single problem. Fact.

It’s the glorified flu for healthy people. A year later and we still act like it’s a death sentence.

We had a fully virtual offseason last year and we held each other accountable…..

Like when Gronk would change shirts every 10 minutes on a single day, and submit the tape claiming it was 5 days of work? Not the attitude most would prefer from a team trying to defend a championship.

gronk didn’t say he didn’t practice on other days, he jsut said he took all videos on one day :-)

Nobody has to boycott this. If players want to show up and work out, they can.

Don’t you think this has something to do with the 17 game schedule?

As for Covid, these guys should have their shots by now. I don’t see why they should be concerned. Exposure to the general public can be limited.

But they are getting extra work and not necessarily extra pay for the 17 games. The extra pay is going to come when the NFL makes more money from the extra games and the salary cap goes up because of that. Then the teams will have to start shelling out some extra money to the players. Which players? Will the extra money go to the superstars, or will it trickle down to the bottom? I don’t know. But that won’t happen until next time, and for this season they are playing the extra game for no extra money. Am I correct in this observation?

people are sheep that believe their media and government. What’s even more ironic are those so quick to dismiss religion but blindly believe the media/government and are easily manipulated.

was it worse than the flu? sure. was it embellished beyond belief? sure. Should we be back to normal right now? sure.

Something for you to consider, Badabing….Maybe, just maybe, those scientists who told us to wear masks and social distance weren’t doing it because they wanted to stop people from worshipping their religion. Maybe they were just trying to save lives. And maybe they actually did.

There were nitwits on this board that were convinced the NFL season wasn’t going to happen, among other ridiculous things.

      Amen !

90+% still testing negative, less than 1% dying if tested positive.
The current pause on one(you have a better chance getting hit by lightning twice.)

How about those scientists that disagree? What is their skin in the game?

You can boycott on the whole a voluntary program? Something doesn’t make sense in that sentence. LoL
