Houston gave up a lot of draft choices to Miami which will cripple Houston for a long time. Now you want the jets to cripple themselves by giving up a lot of draft choices for Watson. It would be a good trade for Houston.
Watson can make a lot more money if he’s on a winning team regardless of what city its in. Who is the last Jet to hit the jackpot in endorsements? Joe Namath? And how much is Baker Mayfield making playing in Cleveland or Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay or Pat Mahomes in Kansas City? The big endorsement deals come with having success on the field combined with being a little friendly with the camera.
