Reports are that the Texans and JJ Watt have mutually agreed to part ways. He may be an option if Shaq prices himself out of a new deal. I believe that he would jump at the chance to come win one here.

My guess is that he signs with the Steelers as they’re a contender and he’ll get to play with his brother.

Steelers aren’t a contender with Big Ben as their QB.

Hes coming to tampa. Book it.

      He’ll take a pay cut.

Id absolutely lose godwin or lvd to get a healthy jj watt.

Not sure if he still has it IMHO. He’s spent a lot of time injured in the last 5 or 6 years/

People thought brady was done too.

Change of scenery can do wonders.

He’d flourish in Bowles attacking system.

        Bring him in.

Brady doesnt rely on explosive power and strength for his game, nor does he make full contact with out 300lb lineman every snap hes on the field.

Not the same player he was, injuries have been a real issue of late.

If he wants to come here on a team friendly deal, I am all for it though!

Watt is washed now guys. He is no longer that dominant player but still could be decent here. injuries have taken a toll on him i’d take him for the cheap but thats it

Houston is very similar to Tampa weather wise.

He doesn’t need money, he needs a SB ring to complete his career. The Bucs are very nicely positioned for next year so I am sure he would come if a deal can be done.

Watt was a top dlineman last year. His problem is just injuries. Of course I’d take him but I’m not paying top dollar.

If we’re going to sign an over the hill DE I’d prefer Clowney.

      I don’t know…

He has played 16 games just twice in the past five years. While he had 16 sacks in 2018, he managed just nine combined over the past two seasons (24 games). Additionally, he managed just 54 pressures according to Pro Football Reference in the past two seasons.

Love the guy, he’s had a hell of a career but I don’t think he’s a good fit for this defense at this stage of his career.

I’d rather give money to the younger guy who’s been healthy and got us a SB, pay Shaq Barrett.

Yeah there is no way I let any of Godwin, LVD, or Shaq walk to make room for Watt.

      Team friendly deal, sure.

Who do you let go? Gholston or Suh no way they let Godwin and David leave.

I’d rather have Shaq come back over Watt. All comes down to the dollars. Our GM has some magic to work this offseason.

I’m all for bringing back the guys that got us there instead of the glitzy new potential Free Agent.

Last few times we played the Texans Watt was barely noticeable.

Shaq lining up at OLB with Watt at DE could work just fine! Gholston has been very solid in this defense though..
