I’m sure it’s no shocker, but we are ranked dead last. So…who are we tanking for this season? http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/rankings?src=desktop

All the sky is falling crap on this board is a little over the top. Go ahead and vent the day after a loss like that. But at the end of the day we all knew it was going to be like this. With a rookie QB and a rookie OL we are bound to have our share of awful weeks. But make no mistake, other weeks we will look like world beaters. Look for the Bucs to give the Saints a pounding this week.

I'm not sure anyone was thinking we were going to lose to the Titans by 28 points.

He might not be the main problem, but his poor play certainly played a role. Lovie is the main problem, his defensive scheme is the next problem (no pressure, inexperience, jumping routes), his inability to adjust is a problem, the oline is a problem, offensive scheme not getting receivers open is a problem, Winston throwing ints, tripping over his own feet, bad throwing mechanics, and bad recognition of the defense (for audibles/pass protection, etc) are also all problems. He certainly isn't "the" problem, but nobody can say Winston isn't a problem

His poor play is a 100% direct indication of the coaching (or lack there of), that he's getting.  It's the same argument I've made in defense of Glennon the past 2 year, and the same argument that I made before the draft about why I didn't want the Bucs to draft a QB.  The environment (coaching staff), is the problem, not the players.  Bring in a real NFL coach and then we'll know what we have.

I agree to an extent, but Winston is the one throwing the ball to sensabaugh, that's not coaching, that's his arrogance/self confidence in his ability. He played at a big time program, had success, he thinks he can force it in.--Please don't take my ramblings as "Winston is the problem", he's a cog in the machine that is a Lovie Smith operated big bag of crap. But he's still responsible for the calls he makes, throws he makes, bad reads he makes. Coaching may be part of it, but if he gets overwhelmed I wonder if he resorts to instincts and forgets coaching.

This is absolutely understandable.  I'm just in the mode, at this point, to lean towards a lack of adequate coaching to be the problem.

Based on my bias against Lovie, I can certainly see your point of inadequate coaching. I'm holding out hope that Koetter is coaching him though, and this was "rookie jitters, oh no I'm losing to Mariota again, he's not better then me I need to press, i need to lead this team to victories" mistakes. We'll soon know more if it's purely coaching or Winston's head that is the issue under center.

The Pats played 3 rookie Olinemen.  The Titans, some may have missed it, played a rookie QB, I think. The Bucs are 32nd ranked because they have the worst defense in football, the worst coaching staff in football, worst front office in football, and the 30th QB in football (JFF, Mallet)

It's quite obvious to most, that we suck in just about all phases of a football team.

I’m more than happy to call out the coaches and on up for that performance, but before we give Jambo a free pass, seems buddy had an issue with throwing early and ugly ints in college as well. Are you going to drop the bomb on FSU’s coaches as well?

I hope that happens.  We'll be able to get a good offer for a trade down.  I'm thinking there'll be 4 teams picking in the top 10 that'll want/need a QB, the Jets, Redskins, Texans, and Bears.  Having the #1 pick next year should get us a lot of picks to help our new coach.

That wasn't a bad week because of a rookie QB or a bad OL.... that was a f'kn catastrophe. The score was 21-0 half way through the first quarter to a team that was as bad as we were last year and is also starting a rookie QB. The stadium started to empty out at halftime. There is no excuse for that.
