      1. Because he was never as good as you claimed. i.e. “He throws the best ball in the NFL” 2. We want the best chance to secure the #1 overall pick and our shot at a franchise QB. 3. Lovie is a moron. 4. Reason #3 is why #2 won't happen anyways. We are doomed.

      Because a mobile QB is needed behind this line. That’s why. Glennon would get killed. No need to risk a young arm. I imagine he’ll be of some use next season, whether as trade bait or duking it out with another young QB. Not the answer long-term, but still of some use. No need to sacrifice him.

      The McCown post game press conferences are downright sad at this point. How many times can a vet make rookie mistakes and try to justify them in the press conference after the game? Its brutal.

      Lovie quickly identified that Glennon is not the answer, so Lovie is trying to preserve his trade value by not putting anymore bad film out there on Glennon. Yeah 29 TDs to 15 INTs looks great but the offense looks absolutely anemic when he’s out there. A team like Dallas could probably make him a serviceable starter, but his lack of mobility behind our dreadful line is just a recipe for disaster; were he to survive, his trade value would essentially evaporate.
