First Take asks if Tim Tebow could lead this year's Broncos to the Super Bowl Matt Yoder SI.com 27 January 2014.
Tim Tebow last played for the Denver Broncos three seasons ago. But in fairness to First Take, "Could Craig Morton lead this Broncos team to the Super Bowl" isn't as interesting of a topic. And believe it or not, this is the second consecutive year First Take has asked whether Tim Tebow could magically lead a team to the big game even though he wasn't playing for said team.
So, could he?

Seriously doubt they go get Welker and “accidentally” let Elvis leave the building if Timmy is at the helm. But just to answer the question…HELL NAW. He would have had to go through New England…and we saw the tragic end to that story a couple of times. BB knew how to contain the gimmick.

It had nothing to do with Bill and everything to do with God not wanting Tebow to win.

I wish he would have intervened a little more in those FSU/UF games then.

So with a massive improvement like manning, of course they’re where they should be on schedule. But no. I doubt very much even their all around solid group could carry tebow to super bowl. It's tough to win superbowl contention with hardly any air yards.

If they even made the playoffs. Elway has to be praying to whatever God he worships that Peyton comes back for 1 more.
