Pewter Report announces a radio partnership with 1010 AM CBS Sports that launches today. The PR staff will be featured on The Pewter Pulse at 1:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with mid-day host Tom Krasniqi. Scott Reynolds and JP Peterson join forces for Pewter Report Radio each Thursday at 5:00pm.

Pewter Report had to call an audible with regards to its 2009 radio partnership. Shortly after announcing a continuation of the relationship with WDAE 620 in late July, the station decided not to renew the PewterReport.com Buccaneer Blitz show this year.

That led Pewter Report and 1010 AM CBS Sports Radio to embark on a new, exciting partnership that features the Pewter Report editorial staff on the airwaves with more appearances each week during football season. Pewter Report’s analysis on the Bucs is featured on two shows over a four-day period on 1010.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, a Pewter Report beat writer will be calling in live from One Buc Place at 1:00 p.m. for a 40-minute segment called The Pewter Pulse with mid-day host Tom Krasniqi.

Beginning on Monday, August 24, Charlie Campbell will be featured on Mondays, Scott Reynolds will come on Wednesdays after the Bucs’  media session and Jim Flynn will lend his expertise on the upcoming opponents with a regular Friday spot. Because the Bucs host the Miami Dolphins this Thursday, Flynn will provide the recap of Tampa Bay's third preseason game. Be sure to listen to each appearance at 1:00 p.m.

"Pewter Report is excited to be on the air with Tom Krasniqi," Reynolds said. "Tom's show is the only mid-day show that features Tampa Bay sports talk and we look forward to talking Bucs football during the lunch hour and filling that void in the local market."

Reynolds is also co-hosting a new hour-long show called Pewter Report Radio with JP Peterson, the host of Happy Hour with JP. The show can be heard weekly each Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and will bring insight into what went right and what went wrong during the latest game, preview the next one and discuss the latest scoop from One Buc Place.

“This show will have different, specific segments designed to separate it from the Buccaneer Blitz show,” Reynolds said. “I have respected JP’s reporting on News Channel 8 and the content on his Happy Hour show for years and I’m thrilled to work with him. If you liked the Buccaneer Blitz show, you’ll love Pewter Report Radio each Thursday at 5:00 p.m. I guarantee fans will learn a lot about their Buccaneers by listening.”

In addition to regularly scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday appearances on 1010, the Pewter Report staff will be calling the station to report breaking Bucs news as it happens. Mike Pepper, the station’s program director is excited to bring the Pewter Report audience to 1010 this fall and beyond.

“We here at 1010 CBS Sports are thrilled to partner with Pewter Report,” said Pepper. “Their coverage of the Buccaneers, in-season and out, is second to none. You can’t think of Bucs football without thinking of Pewter Report.”

Pewter Report is delighted to be welcomed with open arms by the 1010 staff.

“1010 is a local sports station that is really on the rise and Pewter Report looks forward to helping the station continue to grow its audience,” Reynolds said. “We are excited to call 1010 Pewter Report’s radio home in Tampa Bay and look forward to bringing the station’s listeners a different and entertaining brand of Bucs coverage four days a week. Bucs fans are sure to love the Pewter Pulse and Pewter Report Radio on 1010.”

In addition to its shows on 1010, the Pewter Report staff will also be featured on weekly call-in segments with various sports talk radio stations around the state of Florida for close to four hours of weekly Pewter Report-driven Bucs talk.
