Olson Talked To USC About Offensive Coordinator Position
Bucs offensive coordinator Greg Olson recently spoke to USC head coach Lane Kiffin and his father, Monte, about the Trojans' vacant offensive coordinator job, according to Rivals.com. Olson was promoted from QBs coach to offensive coordinator after the firing of Jeff Jagodzinski last September.
   
Bucs Hire Yarber As New Receivers Coach
UPDATED: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired Eric Yarber to serve as their new wide receivers coach as first reported by Pewter Report. Yarber, who played wide receiver for the Redskins from 1986-87, has spent several years as a WRs coach, most recently with Arizona State. Tim Holt was hired to be an offensive assistant.

Saints Win Super Bowl XLIV

The New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV in Miami on Sunday, 31-17. New Orleans QB Drew Brees was named the Super Bowl's MVP after completing a Super Bowl record-tying 32 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns.

Sears Could Be Ready For Offseason Workouts

Collective Bargaining Agreement - FAQ
The CBA is set to expire after the 2010 season, so as of right now it will take six accrued seasons in the NFL to become an unrestricted free agent without a new CBA. There are other questions fans have as well regarding the CBA. The answers come courtesy of a league-issued informational memo from the NFL.
   
NFL Prepares For Drastic Changes In Uncapped Year
The free agent signing period is scheduled to begin on Mar. 5, and unless something drastically changes between now and then the 2010 season will be uncapped. In addition to having no salary cap, fans should be aware of several other changes that come with no extension of the CBA, including a possible lock out in 2011.
