The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Booster Club is the oldest and largest Bucs Booster Club in Tampa, Fla.
Formed in 1976 by a few loyal Bucs fans, the Bucs Booster Club in Tampa is currently made up of all types of people with different personalities. However, they all have at least one thing in common – their passion for Tampa Bay Buccaneers football.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Booster Club meets the fourth Tuesday of every month (except November and December) at Sam Seltzer’s Steakhouse in Tampa.
Each monthly meeting offers people the opportunity to interact with their fellow Bucs fans and hear from many former and current Bucs and sports personalities and Buccaneer staff members in an informal setting.
"We provide a medium for Buc fans to stay in touch with each other and learn what is going on with the Bucs all year long," said Tampa Bay Bucs Booster Club president David Miller. "We have several guest speakers, ranging from coaches to players to the Pewter Report. To the best of my knowledge, the Tampa Bay Bucs Booster Club is the only organized Buccaneer fan club remaining."
Past guest speakers have included Bucs general manager Bruce Allen, defensive tackle Chris Hovan, linebacker Ryan Nece, center Dan Buenning, former Bucs DT Brad Culpepper, former Bucs quarterback and current front office executive Doug Williams and Hall of Famer Lee Roy Selmon, among others.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Booster Club monthly membership costs anywhere from $10 to $25.
