Hey Mark, do you know what’s going on with DT Johnathan Hankins? Colt released him, 26 years old and could be good compliment to McCoy in the middle. Any interest by the Bucs? What do you think?

This is NOT a deep draft for EDGE rushers. And there were NO game breaking pass rushers available in free agency. Licht is adding solid pro’s where they are available as depth to the D line. All he can do at this point.

Licht is going after depth, no super stars out there on the market. We’re bringing in the best fit for what’s available and what we want to do. I’d like to see whether we go after Hankins who was just released by Colts. He’s 26 and maybe pairs up well with McCoy.

Matthieu is looking for $10mm plus. Cards were offering him north of $9mm and he walked. Always liked Clayborne, he just never seemed to get the job done.

My son attends Auburn. After Big Wins, the chant goes from War Eagle to War Damn Eagle! Learned that first hand at the win this past season vs. Georgia. It’s all good!

War Damn Eagle!!!!!

Great news! With emergence of Godwin, what does this mean for future of Jackson? For whatever reason, he and Jamies don’t click. Is there a trade opportunity? If yes, Jason please make it with an AFC team.

Build from the trenches out.
Thank you – this guy is not the answer. Belichick trades these types of players for premium picks all the time. Gets premium pick for guys that are at the end of the road and restocks with more young talent with higher draft picks. Then coaches guys up to continue winning games.
Best lineman that does what for us? By the time we build enough around him he’ll have lost that first step – which is his only move. Good guy, decent player, but not a leader, not going to be in his prime when the rest of the team is able to compete.

McCoy and David have been on the squad together for years. If they haven’t taken things over the way Sapp and Brooks did by now, don’t hold your breath. McCoy is a good, not great player. LaVonte David is the most underrated and overlooked player in the league and absolutely one of the All Time Bucs Greats. McCoy talks, talks, talks about being…[Read more]

Absolutely agree – last time we picked a S from Bama – Mark Baron – hype was all around. Playing behind that Bama D’line makes DB’s look great! Needs to be trenches first an then build back from there, both sides of the ball.

Watched the whole video. Really like this guy. Did we just hire our next D Coordinator or what!

Amen. Mac, you’ve got a few years on me, but we’re not that far apart. My Take – If we just focus on what a coach or player can produce the rest should take care of itself. Ability is the best and should be the only qualification.

Sorry, just look at how many games he’s dominated in the 4th quarter – none. He’s good player, but not clutch. Maybe it’s scheme, who knows, but anyone can see he’s not a closer or a guy that can take over a game..

Hey, why no love for Demar Dotson at 98? Tough season for him injury wise, but probably our best O lineman. [Marpet at C not great…]
And Roger Goodell making $40m to $50m a year. For a game that is being more controlled by screw ball rules and refs than players, is taking longer, with announcers that can’t seem to understand they don’t need to fill every second of air time with inane commentary. I used to watch most games just for the love of the game. No more. I watch the…[Read more]
I think this is all hype at this point. C’mon people, its February! The Bucs will re-sign Mike, Jameis, Kwon. And posts telling Mike he should go somewhere else, take your own advice. Go Bucs!!!

These guys have got to be joking!?!?! How out of touch are they???? In the glory days we had a Super Bowl contending team, sell-outs every week and a waiting list a mile long. No more, on each count. Malcom Glazer knew business, knew how to win, knew what was important to the fans. His sons aren’t even shadows of their dad.
Dman commented on the post, Bleacher Report’s 7-Round Mock Draft For The Bucs Is Eye-Opening 1 month, 1 week ago
I like Scott’s first round rule of thumb – the pick should be a perennial Pro-Bowler. For that reason I like the guard from ND, who should be available at #7. If Chubb falls to us there, even better. Last time we picked a safety from ‘Bama [Baron] he was off the team in a couple years. And it would be great to pick up a couple of impact players…[Read more]
