Actually like when we’re overlooked and disrespected. Will take anything that can be used by the guys as fuel for the fire as opposed to being media darlings like we were last year. Actually really excited for the upcoming season and think our roster can compare to almost anyone’s. Now, can we coach it is the question.

Still a couple guys like Lynch, Clayborn and Ealy out there that might help.

Have ZERO confidence Mike Smith is creative enough to use him effectively..

Smith, Sitton, Jensen, Marpet and Dotspn would be a solid OL.

It’s tampering if the teams are even talking to the FA’s agents, but the whole league is doing it so it just gets ignored evidently.

Actually throw Junior Galette into the DE conversation as well.

Gaines, Reid, Poe, Okafor, Attaochu, Berger, Kline and Sturgis and free agency is a lock.

Not doubting the team is actively trying to add guys like Quinn or Bennett, but starting to doubt their valuations on players. So a team who finished the year with 38 sacks values Bennett higher than the team that finished with 22 and near the bottom of the league in basically every defensive category.

See lots of folks picking Pamphile. While I agree he’s a decent backup G/T, we already have that in Benenoch, who the team seems to be very high on. Torn on Tandy as well, though I think they’ll resign him just due to familiarity.

    My take:
Ryan Fitzpatrick – QB – Solid vet backup, though Griffin may be more in the teams plans
Kevin Pamphile – G/T – Easily replaceable as depth
Evan Smith – G/C – See Pamphile, Kevin
Charles Sims – RB – Was ready for him to leave 2 years ago
Will Clarke – DE – Decent depth, would like to see what Buckner can do with him
Justin Trattou – DE – meh
Clinton McDonald – DT – Definitely want him to return
Sealver Siliga – DT – Easily replaceable as depth
Brent Grimes – CB – Definitely want him to return
Robert McClain – CB – Decent depth, though the FA CB market is pretty solid
Keith Tandy – S – Decent depth, though the FA S market is pretty solid
TJ Ward – S – Was excited when he signed, now not so much
Garrison Sanborn – LS – Solid vet LS
Nick Folk – K – Plenty of legs on the market to challenge Murray

Like the idea of adding Okafor as well. He’s coming off a ruptured Achilles and definitely won’t be ready for OTA’s, and he may miss the start of training camp as well. When healthy though, he could help. Also like the idea of adding Ealy and/or Ansah as well, if Detroit lets him walk.
