Garv commented on the post, Could Have Been Bucs RB Cook Impressing With Vikings 1 day, 14 hours ago
Tiresome. It’s just tiresome to constantly second guess. But if you can’t see the positives from the players Jason Licht DID draft I don’t know what to tell you. Oh, and incidentally? The Buccaneers really do like Peyton Barber. Most fans saw him play very well last Sunday. And Quizz? Well, if you check the stats from last Sunday they were about…[Read more]

Reynolds’ 2017 #Bucs Season Predictions – Do the #Bucs make the playoffs? How many wins do they get?
I “predict” we’ll know the answer to that on the late afternoon of December 31. And I’m no swami.
Garv replied to the topic Will Jacquies Smith and TJ Ward be starting? in the forum The Red Board 6 days, 8 hours ago
Starting? Jacquies Smith? Ya, the Bears are a running team and our just healthy pass rushing specialist is going to start over Gholston and Ayers. We have to know the answer to that, right?
Garv replied to the topic Come on PR put a 2-3 day limit on that Breaking marquee and take it down! in the forum The Red Board 6 days, 8 hours ago
Holy COW! The Bucs/Dolphins game last Sunday was CANCELLED? See, I just happen to need these breaking banners otherwise I would have missed what I missed last Sunday. NOW I get why the Buccaneers are 0-0 going into the Bears game tomorrow.
Damn this waiting is making us shit house rat NUTS!
Garv commented on the post, SR’s Fab 5: McCoy Must Dominate For Bucs; Koetter’s Biggest Challenge 6 days, 14 hours ago
Dirk Koetter is the right man for the job and at the right time as well. He’s only in his second year as HC and yet today ranks behind only John McKay, Tony Dungy and Jon Gruden in Buccaneer history. And if things go the way many of us are expecting, that could change for the better.
There is nothing wrong with Gerald McCoy’s play. There is something wrong with expecting more from a guy who is always double and tripled teamed and less from the players around him who should be taking advantage of that. The McCoy critics know very little about hi job or his performance on the field.
Garv replied to the topic Hall of Fame Board is for? in the forum Hall of Fame Board 6 days, 14 hours ago
The question now should be asked. What are ALL these boards for? The comments on the news stories are more relevant and focused on what I assume we want to be focused on in the first place, Buccaneer football. Used to be a great place to share opinions on Buccaneer football and have some fun. It isn’t anymore. The Red Board seems to be mostly…[Read more]

Good God, home opener, SEASON opener in two days against Mike Glennon and the Bears and people are still typing about the fifth round pick who couldn’t cut it as far as understanding the Buccaneer playbook and being able to be trusted as a pass blocker is concerned?
Guess this will bump it from 2 back up to one. The irony, oh the…[Read more]

Randy, I think you DO qualify and for the following two reasons. I’ve SEEN you at the games, you are definitely a passionate fan. and the fact is when you can’t make it you make sure another Buccaneer fan is in your seats. Coach Koetter is referring to the jackwagons who sell their tickets to the highest bidder no matter who those people may…[Read more]
Garv replied to the topic Bradford NFC Offensive Player of the Month in the forum The Red Board 1 week, 1 day ago
FACT: If Sam gets the kind of pass protection he got against the Saints he’s as good as anyone, a very accurate passer, a good leader. Question is, can the Buccaneers provide that pass rush, the one we didn’t see all preseason? Hopefully. Because if not QB’s like Sam, Eli and Tom Brady coming up will have huge days. Now until then, BEARS FIRST!…[Read more]
Garv commented on the post, Four Things We Learned From OBP 9-13: Neither Bucs Nor Bears Have Advantage 1 week, 2 days ago
I’m hoping to see an effective Buccaneer pass rush. If the defense can do that we’ll see some sacks of 10 yards or more. Mike likes to drop way back and can’t move much. Stop the Bear’s running game and rush the passer and the Buccaneers come out 1-0 in front of an enthusiastic crowd. We NEED this and as fans, WE READY!!!
Garv replied to the topic Bradford NFC Offensive Player of the Month in the forum The Red Board 1 week, 2 days ago
Damn, another “prediction?” Well, this much IS true, if the Buccaneers cannot generate a better pass rush then we saw this summer QBs like Bradford will thrive against our defense. I’m really hoping the vanilla D we saw this summer was hiding some Mike Smith packages to get to the QB. If not, from what I saw Sam do to the Saints? He and others…[Read more]

LOL All I can do when I see “predictions” as a method of reporting. They’re absolutely useless and only luck will from time to time make them even marginally accurate. “Predict” any injuries in game five? OK, my yearly rant on the obvious is done. And yes, I “predict” they be another one a year from now but perhaps a week earlier.
Garv commented on the post, Game On! Bucs To Open Season vs. Bears On Sunday At Ray-Jay 1 week, 2 days ago
No doubt about it, this could be the first MUST win in the first game of a season in league history and it won’t be easy. It is also one of the most anticipated season openers in years. It makes for great drama in four days and as a fan I am chomping at the bit to get to the game and support this team.
Tickets still available. If you can go,…[Read more]

He really never had a chance but in the end, he DID get some good tape and just might be able to take advantage of that down the road. A good effort against players not likely to make an NFL team this year is just that.

Skip Bayless is a pompous ass who knows nothing, absolutely nothing about the Buccaneers other than what he’s seen on Hard Knocks. No credibility whatsoever. I’d rather not spend a second thinking about him or his bogus opinions but here I am. Five minutes I’ll never get back.
