Every now and then I hear or read something about Winston’s “long windup,” and how it is similar to Byron Leftowich.
I see no similarity in the two QB’s deliveries whatsoever.
Winston’s is no way similar to Byron’s and I don’t know why some people try to force this opinion out there but I guess they have their own hidden agenda.

Jon, no one is trying to send Conte to the HOF, but he had a monster game and people didn’t even seem to realize until the next day or so.
Tackling Brees on the two, INT, forcing a fumble and also giving up himself to make a tackle on a Saints RB who had broken free.
Jon, are you the type of guy who just wants to pick on a persons faults constantly and can’t give a pat on the back when he has a great game.

I’d compare Winston more to McNair then lefty. For a guy who critics say is slow footed, he sure made some big plays last week running for 1st downs, T.D.’s, and scrambled throwing a perfect bomb to Murph. Lefty could never make those kinds of plays. His mechanics will only improve with time. Hate to say it, but people see both players are big guys who are black, and make that comparison.

U r right suferdudes. I can still see Lefty’s long slow windup and elongated delivery and to think Winston’s is anything close truly shows the individual is ignorant or prejudiced.
