    Even if we end up with a high draft pick next year I’m not sure I trust the judgement of Lovie et al to make the best choices for our team. They certainly got rid of some players we should have kept this year.

    A couple of points I think we need to consider. I know a lot of you guys are not used to me being an optomist but, both Derrick Brooks locally and Warren Saap nationally have gone on record saying that it takes time to develop this defense and players struggle at first. Brooks warned usrecently. Dungy went 0-6 to start his first season and we were all yelling. Lovie went 5-11 his first year in Chicago.I know some of you will say “yes, but they never got beat 56-14”. My answer is that I have never seen (I am sure it must have happened)a team play missing almost their entire front seven, there top rb, and top TE.
