Scott, We have been hearing a lot recently about Jacquies Smith DE, Danny Lansanah LB, and Orie Lemon LB. Are these players that good, or just good enough for now? Do you think that they will still make the team next year and that the Bucs can leave those positions off from their draft board? I am always Leary at this time of year as the talent pool of F/A is quite diluted by now so what you have is about the best that you can get for now.

Do YOU feel that the bucs must take a top tier qb in the draft this year before another position as one should be available with their record ?..at east so far

I disagree with what most of you are saying about the draft (going mostly offense again). Yes, our defense is developing, but has no depth. I say use the draft for defense this year to develop depth, and obtw, that will improve our special teams. On offense we need OL; we all agree on that. But, not rookie draftees. We need to go out and get the cream of the FA market for our line-and get it right this time. Guys in their late 20,s with a lot left. Spend the money.

Didn’t realize that The Fan bit the dust. I heard the folks on WDAE gloating big time bout killing another station but I thought that 1040 bit it. The WDAE idiots are pretty callous – there were some good folks at The Fan.
