What has already turned into a national sensation known simply as “The Scramble” (just kidding, we made that up), Jameis Winston’s never-say-die 20-yard run for a first down on third-and-19 against the Falcons has earned him another piece of hardware to display on his mantel. Or on his mother’s refrigerator in Bessemer, Ala. where his Heisman Tropy resides.
The National Football League announced on Friday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has been voted Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week for Week 13.

Facing the Atlanta Falcons, Winston led a 12-play, 80-yard drive to win the game, which included a 20-yard run on third-and-19 that prolonged the drive. Winston connected with Mike Evans on a six-yard touchdown that proved to be the winning score. For the game, Winston completed 18-of-27 passes for 227 yards and one touchdown, while adding a rushing score.
Winston is the first Buccaneers player, and only NFL rookie, to be named Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week this season.

Good because I think I voted 100 times
Good job cgmaster!
Just trying to do my part Scu. haha
Crazy legs Winston.
I didn’t even know this award category existed, but I can’t think of a more deserving player than Winston for his dynamic play in the Falcons game.
Sometimes we forget that football is entertainment. He brings a kind of excitement that I haven’t seen since Brett Farve. The Sunday Saints game is a sellout. Pretty sure he has a lot to do with that! If he’s going to do it, he’s going to do it big then! lol.
I know, wouldn’t it be big to get another big win in front of the home crowd. This team and our QB are sure building up some buzz down there from what I’m reading.
Sorry, spoke too soon – game not a sellout. 1K tix left at 10mins before game time.
I only voted 5 times cg. Props to you.
I sure hope that sellout is from the bandwagon Bucs fans.
I hate sellouts but less so if they are Bucs fans.
Hey, as they say during election season, every vote counts!
