Latest Bucs Headlines

The Bucs clinched the NFC South championship with a 32-9 win over the Panthers, and Tampa Bay’s 2022 opponents can now be revealed. In addition to their NFC South division rivals, the Bucs will also play the NFC West and AFC North divisions, plus games against Green Bay, Dallas and Kansas City – the division champs of the NFC North, NFC East and AFC West, respectively.

With the NFL moving to a 17-game schedule in 2021, the Bucs had an extra road game this year at Indianapolis. Next year, the Bucs will host a ninth home game against the Chiefs as the extra AFC game.

Tampa Bay will play the Los Angeles Rams, a team the Bucs might play again in the playoffs, for a fourth straight season – next year at Raymond James Stadium. Additionally, the Bucs will playing the Packers at least three times in the last four years when the team teams meet in 2022. Tampa Bay beat Green Bay twice last year, including in the NFC Championship at Lambeau Field, and will host them again.

The team will also host the Kansas City Chiefs, a team that Tampa Bay played twice last year. Tampa Bay lost to K.C. in the regular season, but beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, 31-9, at Ray Jay.

The Bucs will host some of the league’s top quarterbacks in 2022, including Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers, Kansas City’ Patrick Mahomes, Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow, Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, Dallas’ Dak Prescott, L.A.’s Matthew Stafford, Seattle’s Russell Wilson and Arizona’s Kyler Murray.

Times and dates for Tampa Bay’s 2022 will be known next April when the NFL releases the full schedule.
