After being waived prior to the Bucs’ Week 5 game against the Chicago Bears, with the potential to be re-signed to Tampa Bay’s practice squad, cornerback Parnell Motley has been signed off of waivers by the San Francisco 49ers, per ESPN’s Field Yates.
An undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma, Motley has been active for two of the Bucs’ five games this season, seeing special teams snaps in Tampa Bay’s Week 3 game against the Broncos and their Week 4 game against the Chargers.
The 49ers, who are dealing with a number of injuries in the secondary, have claimed CB Parnell Motley off of waivers from the Bucs. He can join the team after clearing the normal COVID-19 protocols.
