While running backs Dalvin Cook, Christian McCaffrey and Leonard Fournette are getting all the media and fan attention as possible picks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 19 in the first round, the team itself is making sure they’re as informed as they can be with this running back class as a whole from top to bottom.
That became even more evident when the father of Texas Longhorns running back D’Onta Foreman tweeted out that his son was taking an official visits in Tampa Bay this week.
Prayers and traveling grace today for @D33_foreman as he travels to work out with a family friend @MikeEvans13_ and the Tampa Bay Bucs! 🤘 pic.twitter.com/qDYftEZSk8

Foreman was one of the more intriguing backs in college football this season, mainly because he had the production of over 2,00 rushing yards while playing at a reported 250 pounds. He wasn’t really 250 pounds, Foreman himself said that when he weighed in at 233 at the NFL Combine – he said his playing weight was probably around 240.
Still, over 2,000 yards of rushing is impressive no matter the size, and at just 20 years old, he’s one of the youngest prospects in the draft with the least amount of mileage on his body for a ball carrier. We know the team has met with later round backs like Kareem Hunt and Marlon Mack multiple times throughout the process. Now we can throw Foreman on their radar as well.
Foreman had also met with the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans.
