The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t get their 2017 Christmas wish as they failed to come out of their contest versus the Carolina Panthers with a victory. However, being away from home and being defeated in a football game didn’t stop one Bucs player from getting into the Christmas giving spirit.
According to a report from TMZ, Bucs defensive tackle Sealver Siliga and some of his friends went to a local Tampa Applebee’s after the game and dropped a $1,000 tip on a $256.93 bill.

According to the report, Siliga asked the manager how many people were working that night on Christmas Eve because he wanted to tip each one of them $100. There were 10 people working, so that’s how Siliga came up with the number.
Siliga didn’t need to personally know the people to give them joy on Christmas Eve, and that’s a Christmas story worth telling.
