Bucs cornerback Vernon Hargreaves has had quite the learning curve coming into the NFL.
His struggles during his rookie year included giving up the most yards and the most catches in the NFL in 2016. 2017 was off to a rough start in his first six weeks as a starting outside cornerback, but once he moved into the slot he performed very well, according to Pro Football Focus.

That 0.41 coverage rating was eighth-best in the NFL last year, according to PFF’s rankings.
It has been stated by Bucs defensive coordinator Mike Smith that Hargreaves will get another shot as the team’s outside cornerback, but will also be their primary nickel cornerback in sub packages.
Is this the right move? Should Hargreaves play on the outside at all? Is a bounce back year coming?
