Professional football has exploded in popularity over the last 10 years and a big reason for that has been the evolution and involvement of fantasy football. As fans enter the preseason, not only do they want to know how the players on their own teams are looking but also how certain players around the league are performing for fantasy purposes.
With a plethora of offensive weapons on their roster, the Bucs are somewhat of a hot bed of fantasy options (depending on how much you believe in their ability to score touchdowns). One player who seems to be highly coveted is rookie running back Ronald Jones, who NFL.com says is the No. 3 ranked player most poised to dominate in fantasy as a rookie.

Jones, who has drawn a lot of comparisons to Jamaal Charles, lands in a great spot to find fantasy success right out of the gate. The Buccaneers had a void atop their depth chart with Doug Martin out of the mix, and I like RoJo to move ahead of Peyton Barber and Jacquizz Rodgers sooner rather than later. While he does need to work on his pass protection, Jones has the playmaking tools needed to make an impact.
Is Jones high on your fantasy big board? Do you think he’ll beat out Peyton Barber enough to be an impact in fantasy this year?
