With the announcement on Monday from Dirk Koetter that linebackers Kwon Alexander and Jack Cichy have been lost for the season, PewterReport.com can confirm the teams has signed former linebacker Riley Bullough.
Bullough was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017 after his college career at Michigan State, and became a fan favorite during the HBO Hard Knocks series covering the Buccaneers that same year. Affectionally nicknamed “Joe Dirt” Bullough was portrayed as a throwback linebacker who was a vocal leader for the Bucs backups.
Bullough saw action in three games last season, notching two tackles. He was injured during the 2018 preseason and was placed on injured reserve and waived with an injury settlement.
