CURRENT BUCCANEERS RANKING: 22 (-2)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
At the midpoint of the 2018 season, the Buccaneers are exactly what their 3-5 record suggests – a slightly below average football team. Tampa Bay has proven that they aren’t quite ready to compete with the elite franchises in the top 10, aside from week one’s miracle at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, but they can put up a a good fight with the rest of the league and have a 50-50 shot to win those games. Since week one not much has changed for the Bucs either, as they are still on pace to become by far the best offense in team history but the worst defense in the history of the NFL. In the upcoming third quarter of the season, Tampa Bay has three very winnable games to start against the Redskins, Giants and 49ers before facing the Panthers again at home so there’s a real opportunity for this team to get back to .500 before things are too far gone.
