After a game in which the Bucs racked up 501 yards of total offense, but just three points, Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter has decided to hand play calling duties back to offensive coordinator who handled the headset for the teams first eight games and helped the Buccaneers become one of the top offenses in the NFL.
On his weekly Friday afternoon radio show Koetter announced Monken would have the responsibility of getting the Bucs in the end zone, something they failed to do last Sunday against the Redskins in their 16-3 loss.
Koetter also announced that Kendell Beckwith would not be active for the Giants game, a blow considering that Lavonte David was ruled out for the matchup against Saquon Barkley and the Giants. David took a helmet to the knee is the Redskins game but was able to continue to play despite the injury.
