While Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter is expected to be fired following Sunday’s game against the Falcons, NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport says no final decision has been made, at least as far as what he is hearing.

Rapaport, who is very plugged in among the NFL circles and is considered one of the most reliable NFL insiders, thinks Sunday’s game will be Koetter’s last, but sais on Sunday morning Koetter hasn’t been informed by the Glazers that he will be let go.

While Koetter hasn’t officially received his fate from ownership, on his radio show on Friday night, Koetter sounded like a man who can see the writing on the wall and said, “Whether I’m here or not, I’ll always be a Bucs fan.”

The Monday following the final weekend of NFL games is known as “Black Monday” and most likely Koetter will be among at least four head coaches around the league who will be let go. With a 19-28 record and possibly two back to back 5-11 seasons, combined with thousands of empty seats each game at Raymond James Stadium, Koetter most likely will coach his final game for the Buccaneers later this afternoon.
